I ordered four items. Levi told me two of these items were unavailable and asked if I wanted a substitute. I asked for a substitute for 1 item to cancel the other item and Levi told me that was ok.

When I got to the window I saw two substitute items in the bag. I asked if one of my items got refunded and Levi told me he couldn't do this, I had to do it through the app. The app did not provide me with a refund.

When Levi agreed to cancel the item while I was at the screen, I believe he did this bad faith, later claiming he knew at that time that he was unable to provide me a refund. If I didn't specifically ask for proof of the refund I would have went on my day believing Levi refunded me as he originally claimed.

I understand mistakes happen, and sometimes we get billed for things we didn't receive, but this review is because Levi intentionally attempted to mislead me. I consider this a scam.

I used to like this location a lot. I was low-key addicted to Frozen Hot Chocolate. Until one day they tell me their Frozen Hot Chocolate machine is down. (I know it's odd, but I don't like coffee... At all... Not even a little bit in other foods/drinks.) So they offered to make me a frozen mocha or a Red Bull drink (I don't like red bull either) and I declined so they said they would take down my name and when the machine was repaired I could pick up a Frozen Hot Chocolate. For the next 3 months they kept telling me the machine would be fixed soon. Finally they said they would not be getting it fixed and they were removing the Frozen Hot Chocolate from the menu for that location. Ever since then, more often then not if I order a doughnut, or today a muffin, they tell me they are out, the frustration comes from using the app and having already paid so I can either HOPE they will have one in stock when I come through for a tea again, or more frequently choose something I have not had before and often (like today) do not enjoy at all. I have also on multiple occasions ordered and paid on the app and when I get to the window they ask me for money again. One girl stood there demanding payment before giving me the food despite me letting her know I had paid and showing her the online order receipt with my payment. It wasn't until another employee came over to check why the drive through timer was still counting that I got my food.

TL;DR: Good luck going here because it's a crap shoot as to what you'll get and the way you will be treated.

I don’t think in the two years of trying to come to this location we’ve had a good experience. Why is it at NOON you are out of every baked good. Only sour cream donuts and blueberry timbits? I went to order soup since I could FINALLY get it and I just decided to cancel my whole order because this place doesn’t deserve a dime.

Purchase a dozen donuts here. Didn't think to actually open the box and review the donuts before leaving. But guess I should of..
They looked like they where tossed in a bag and thrown around then placed in the box, and they were stale. Needless to say I didn't get a donut at all took one bite from one and threw the box in the trash. Very disappointed, will not be returning.

The crew is always so sweet and friendly, even if it's in the middle of a rush. I had a large order for my work this morning and not only was everyone so nice, they also immediately fixed a couple of missing items for me. Thank you for your outstanding customer service and high quality; my favorite location by far!

Frozen freezer burned tasting bagels with the best coffee in America characterizes this store. All the workers are always busy and go out of their way to help you with their small menu. I think because the food and coffee tastses so good it's hard to remember that they are just a coffee shop and not a buffet place.

Okay I guess

The staff at this downtown location are very friendly and have noticed a significant increase in efficiency and wait times. I no longer sit in the drive thru for 3-5 minutes waiting for my food before work! The new store manager deserves kudos for this and the staff deserves it as well! We love the staff at downtown Tim Hortons, they are always so nice.
