The kids went on a senior trip (from Greensburg) into Harrisburg, to meet with Eric Nelson, and Kim Ward, and during their trip, stopped at Baccos. They arrived at 6:15 for their 6:30.... Then were told to wait until 7:00.... Then at 7:30 the guy comes out and says "sorry I lied, we can not seat you" and sent them on their way. Made them wait an hour and a half, then turned them away. On a Monday night. Do not recommend.
We had a group of 10. We were not aware that parties of 8 or more are billed together - no separate checks. Should have been made aware of this when reservations were made. Nor were we aware that paying by credit card would incur an additional 4% to the check until the check was received. Service was poor - slow to take orders for drinks, appetizers and entrees. Didn't receive meal until an hour and 15 minutes after being seated. Of course, gratuity was automatic 20% because of number of people in our party. Food was satisfactory.
All around not a great experience
Food was amazing and service too. Definitely will come back.

Delicious pasta and fresh personal pizza and both were large in size. Staff were very helpful with seating us with a highchair for our 6 month old and helping with the ordering process as it was our first time here. Pizza was good, not great, and the pasta was quite tasty and a full plate of food. Creamy pasta sauce was quite enjoyable on the oriechette al polo. Plenty of chicken and fresh cheese in this as well!

Unfortunately our time at this Bacco location will be one and done as we had a similar experience at another location. To start, we ordered unsweetened ice tea and had to hound for sweetener, which was fallowed up with 2 sweetener packets for 3 people. Our service stayed the same most of the evening. We ordered apps, dinner and dessert.
The calamari was cold, the scampi was oily and the shrimp stuffed with crab was shrimp topped with some cold crab with no pasta or sides. When the dessert tray was offered we were told that all desserts were made in house, while the waitress behind us said only 2 were made in house. We asked about the discrepancy and were told that the other waitress was mistaken, Maybe the server was new, but I’ve seen that rainbow cake a lot of places. The dessert tray was not very clean or presented well. We got the lemon cake and crème brûlée. Cake was dry/stale and the crème brûlée was over cooked.
Overall the atmosphere felt lack luster, as the cold air from the side door chills the whole room. They happened to clean the restrooms during dinner service, we were next to them, the smell of cleaning products was overwhelming. The service is lack luster and the food leaves a lot to be desired….Maybe our experience was not the norm and I hope others have a different one but we won’t be returning

Poor service. Ordered a pizza and it came out covered in oregano. I've ordered the same pizza at other locations with no issue. Didn't touch the pizza, expressed thoughts to server and she still didn't have the wherewithal to offer to remove the item from my bill or remake. Last dollar any of their locations get from me. Legit some of the worst pizza in the area compared to other options.

The place is beautiful night and day to cafe magnolia. I got the Margarita pizza, and then had a cannoli for dessert! Presentation was on point, the service was excellent, and I will definitely be back!

Sadly, our first trip to Bacco was a disappointment. The charcuterie was ok. There was a crazy amount of fog and mustard. We got the oven roasted Brussels and they were awful. They had no flavor. It seemed like they boiled them, put a bit of pepper on them, popped them into the oven for a tiny bit of brown, and then sprinkled some prepackaged sliced Parm on them. No oil, no sauce, no flavor We ordered their house Pino Grigio, it tasted like a flat cider. They did make it right for us and replaced with a prosecco which was ok. My Caesar with chicken was average at best and the chicken was a little tough. The steamed broccoli actually had several bad/brown spots that my wife had to eat around. Unfortunately, we won't be back. I hope they can improve things. Xavier was our server and he was very nice.

We ate at Bacco tonight. We got a shrimp scampi, eggplant parm, salad, and lasagna. Each dish was pretty mediocre. There is nothing special about any of them. The shrimp scampi was swimming in butter. The salad tasted flavorless and old. The red sauce on our dishes tasted out of a can. Also, we got our two alcoholic beverages at the same time as we got our meals. It would have been nice to sip our drinks before eating our meal. If you get dessert, be prepared to wait as it takes just as long as a meal.
The service was pretty poor. We didn’t get any water refills, we also received the wrong drink and salad dressing. Our waitress did say she was new, though.
Atmosphere is fine. The restaurant does seem more open and bright from the previous restaurant.
Definitely won’t be coming back, but i’m glad we were able to try out a new restaurant in the area. Hopefully your trip to Bacco will be better than ours!

I absolutely love Bacco! The people are amazing and the wine and food is wonderful. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and I love the staff. I recommend if you haven't been there that you check it out...you won't be sorry. I would give them a 5! 💕
All of Bacco's dishes are fresh, plentiful, and alluring to the eye. That, coupled with completely incredible service, makes it one of my favorite bistros around. I can hardly wait to try the outdoor seating.
The atmosphere and service is over the top . Fantastic💯👍🍺💣
