I’ve been in search of a reliably good Chinese restaurant ever since my favorite one closed two years ago. Two of them nearby have let me down and one was just OK… But last week we found some of the best we’ve ever had at Bon Bon Cafe! My second order does not disappoint. Kung Pao chicken extra spicy. 🌶️ 💥 Wow! Two bites in and I am already craving it. It’s also one of the nicest and cleanest I’ve seen in years.

I really like the self ordering system they have here, it makes ordering takeout really convenient. Food is always great too and comes out fast!

Tried for first time. Ordered from self service screens. Selected soup, fried dumplings and edamame for appetizers and 4 meals. The soup came out first, then one entree- chicken pad Thai. Then we waited till two more entrees came out. And waited again for the fourth entree. The edamame came out well after the entrees and last was the fried dumplings…. The food was mediocre. Will not return.

Second time visiting BonBon Cafe Mechanicsburg. You place your order at the counter and it's ready in just minutes and served to your table. I had Mango LoMain with chicken. Fresh juicy mango chunks and tender chicken over noodles. The next time I ordered LoMain Salad with chicken. Lots of mixed fresh greens with noodles and hot chicken, dressing on the side. A barbeque pork bun was very tasty as an appetizer. Service is very fast and friendly. Boba macha tea was delicious. Highly recommend BonBon Cafe for a quick casual meal or takeout.

Ordered through DoorDash. Food was good. Good price for the serving size. The buns are my faves. Main dishes definitely could be better. They were not bad just not something to look forward to again.

We do takeout about once a week. The place is clean and the staff know us and usually grabs our food for us before we even get to the counter. I have tried multiple dishes and have enjoyed them all.

I got chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, and tom yum soup. I was looking for something to renew my faith in chinese food. This wasn't it. The rice was bland and the chicken was rubbery. Sesame chicken was mid. Soup was glorified ramen noodles. I love brocolli but it doesn't belong in tom soup.

Great service: they always have someone to help you if you have any questions, they are quick to prepare the food while maintaining the quality, and they bring you the drinks while you wait for the rest of the order. They have good ambiance and have a small section with books and games.

Everything we order is delicious, and we usually get two meals out of our dinners. The passionfruit and green tea drink is my favorite.

I have been a loyal customer since 2019. I have always raved about the food to all my friends. The past couple times I've gotten food from you guys it has been horrible. Over cooked. Dry. Not enough sauce. Just poor quality. I am very disappointed. Unfortunately I will be trying other places.

Easily one of the best Chinese spots around! Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The Kung Pao Chicken had the perfect amount of spice and crunch. Singapore Noodles were packed with veggies and had that nice curry kick. We also tried the General Tso’s Chicken – crispy, saucy, and just the right amount of sweet and heat.
The Hot and Sour Soup was bold and comforting, and the Egg Rolls were super crispy without being greasy. Fried Rice and Chicken with Broccoli were both solid .. classic comfort dishes done right. Loved the Dumplings too, they were juicy and delicious.
And the best part? They threw in waffle ice cream for dessert .. didn’t expect that from a Chinese place, but it was such a fun and tasty surprise!
Service was quick and friendly, and the portions were generous. Can’t wait to order again!

Their boba is great, especially the Nagasaki! The portion for a large is great and comes with a lot of boba pearls, which are also sweet and not plain, unlike some places. Food is also pretty good!

This place has a cult following. Best Asian fusion on the West shore. It's delivery and take out are solid- but it hits different when you dine in. My go to is the beef udon. My husband loves the general tso and crab Rangoon. In an area full of mediocre bland Chinese food, this place is a breath of fresh air. Easy to order on a tablet when you arrive. I've been there countless times. It's amazing.
