Colony House Restaurant

Decided to try it out for the first time today. First, my eggs were over done, the bacon was hard. My friend ordered a cinnamon bun and it was dry, barely any cinnamon and no icing. She also ordered cream chipped beef which was the most horrible, we have ever eaten. It was like runny milk. When we told the one lady, all she says is "I never heard that before." Typical of someone running a restaurant. We will definitely be sticking with Deiners, next door.

Ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits with home fries and it was delightful. Coffee could be better, a little watered down for my taste.

The food was terrible. Chicken Hawaiin was very dry, no sauce and chicken was over done. Mac and cheese was gross, tasteless. Scallops were over cooked. Had not been there for years. We are sorry we stopped.

As close to home cooking as you're going to get, clean restaurant ,very reasonable prices, pleasant service!!!!!!!

I ordered their #4 specialty which was 2 eggs, home fries, toast, and choice of meat (I got bacon). Everything was fine. Nothing was wrong with the meal. It was pretty bland but didn't taste bad. The home fries were not crispy at all and it was just a bunch of warm potatoe slices on my plate. Nothing was bad, but nothing was so good that makes me want to go back there for breakfast again either.

Don't order the steak! It is so well done, you are eating shoe leather. Ordered on grub hub, spent a lot of money, and had to throw the entire steak away. Couldn't chew it, let alone swallow it. So bad....who cooks a tender steak like this? Had to spit it out into the trash can.

Staff is polite and our server was on top of what she was doing she was very good but the food was not good. It was bland under cooked. The latte we got was horrible it tasted like dishwater. We ate breakfast normally we give restaurants 2 chances make sure the first wasn't a fluke but we will not do that with this one.

Seated promptly, chicken tasted good but there was barely 3.5 Oz, it was on top of a full bowl of salad (for 4) and it was bagged not cut fresh with many brown pieces, chili was good as well as Alfredo ravioli

I love this place! The shorter hours are a disappoinment, but unfortunately that's where we are. Great job , and thank you for all you do.

Very nice restaurant. Good service, good food. Really impressed with the prices. This was our first visit, but we will be back!

We have been coming here for years! Always great service, great food, and great prices!

The food was pretty good, our waitress was new and seemed inexperienced. My biggest complaint would be the people at the table behind me, complaining about the waitress. I would say they ruined my breakfast. Colony House seems like a senior citizens paradise. My daughter was the only kid in there and besides her I was probably the next youngest person. Not my cup of tea, but for seniors in the area I would recommend for sure.
