Just a wonderful experience!! For our very large group,15, it was unanimous that the food was excellent. Burgers were a hit!

We are from the other end of the state. My wife and I came to Harrisburg to pick our Son up from a semester abroad in Greece. He said take me some where cooking flavorful, juicy American food! Dad’s Garage it was. As soon as I pulled in the parking lot, I felt at home. The decor is not oversold, it is what you would expect in a garage. The menu was varied, and the food was awesome. Student was tickled with deep fried app’s and a Bacon Burger. Service was Top Shelf!!!! Helpful, friendly, timely and very “Girl next door”ish. Dad’s is a true Diamond in the rough.

This place is the best!! Super casual and unassuming, so a great place to bring kids and not worry about being a disruption. The food is top notch—huge burgers, absolutely divine, freshly made fried chicken, and yummy milkshakes! Plus, the owner is incredibly kind. Highly recommend!

My son responded “Good is an understatement.” To his bacon cheese burger. We shared a chili cheese fry and it was delicious. Highly recommend this place. Parking was a little wonky so I can see if it is busy that could be a problem.

Came here twice over the past few weeks. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Quick and friendly service. A nice local place.

Food looks good in pictures, but was disappointing. Burgers were greasy and hard to eat. Fries were soggy and tasted bland. The place smelled strongly of oil.

Service was prompt and polite. The electronic bill pay worked well.

We love Mary ellen!! My son loves to go in and just have ice cream to see her & play the claw machine. Staff always makes him feel so special.
