DaVinci Italian Eatery

As a traveler and from Chicago, I always have to try the local pizza were I travel to. The pizza was very good. Still a Chicago Thin Crust fan. Very solid place.

Great local place. Our server was very nice.
I had pizza. It was fantastic. Others had hogies and said they were great.
Will come back again next time I'm in town.

Love, love, LOVE calzones, not I prefer the meats and baggies in strombolis. DaVinci's had silver my dilemma: I get the House stromboli (without green papers) and pay $1 to add ricotta cheese.
This transformed the good stromboli into a fabulous calzones!

My husband loves their strombolis and subs, and our child loves the penne soprano and the veggie pizza.

I greatly recommend DaVinci's. Great food, and we love supporting small local businesses.

I was in with my friend last night after work. I made a reservation since I’ve been there other evenings where it was packed, but there were only 6 or so tables with customers. I’ve been there many times over the 4 years I’ve been working in the area and the service is outstanding. I guess it was because of the reservation, but our table was ready for us with settings and condiments already on it. The young lady who served us was very attentive- she asked how we were doing multiple times and brought us anything we asked for in a timely manner. She also knew the desserts available by heart which was impressive, because there were a lot. I took my tiramisu home since I was so full! As always the food was fantastic! Will return many times :)

Only thing I can say bad is sometimes the grandma pizza sauce is spicy, and sometimes it’s not, but people who don’t like spicy may be turned off by that.

Girl at counter was nice. They let us order dinner before it was dinner time. The chef also came out and asked how my pesto was ( It was amazing BTW). He told me they just got in a good amount of fresh pesto and he blended it fresh! Definitely will be back.

Had food to go , ordered online , the food was really good , meal for days. I should have gotten less, waiting for my food it seems no real dress code , lots of family’s , lots of people in and out picking up food , only one person didn’t want to wait for the other to back up , no real complaints,

Saturdays there is a large take order from work. Usually no complaints other than items ordered not made. They sent this sub with sauce and cheese and no hamburger. Not sure what this was supposed to be. Container usually marked was not.
I think it was supposed to be a Cheeseburger Pizza Sub which is on the menu.
