Love this place! The donuts are made fresh right in front of you and come out warm and soft… so good. Tried the maple bacon and cinnamon sugar, and both were amazing. You can mix and match your own toppings which makes it super fun. The whole place smells awesome and the staff is really friendly too. Great spot to grab a sweet treat or pick up a box to share. Definitely a 5-star vibe. I’ll be back for sure!

Is Duck Donuts the greatest donut in the world? Absolutely not. Is it the worst? That honor still goes to Dunkin’, so again—absolutely not.
I dig the whole Duck Donuts vibe. The decor’s fun, and the staff was super pleasant. Their whole shtick is made-to-order cake donuts—fresh, warm, and customizable with a wide variety of toppings.
My friend went classic with a glazed and a French toast donut. I went straight for indulgence: maple icing, chopped bacon, and a salted caramel drizzle—aka the “Bacon in the Sun.” He also ordered the “Sunrise,” a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich served on a glazed donut.
We were the only customers, so we grabbed a table and waited. The breakfast sandwich came out almost instantly. The donuts took about 15 minutes, but I wasn’t in a rush.
Visually, the donuts looked bigger online than in real life—photos do lie. The Bacon in the Sun was just okay. Slightly greasy on the outside, but cakey and warm inside. The glaze was sweet, as expected, but the bacon was a letdown—limp and fatty instead of crisp and candied. The French toast donut tasted oddly artificial. The plain glaze? Basic. Not bad, just… fine.
The standout was the Sunrise sandwich. My friend wouldn’t shut up about how good it was. I didn’t try it, but he made it sound like ducking heaven.
Would I go back to Duck Donuts? Maybe—if it was nearby and I was in the mood. But would I go out of my way or start tracking one down across state lines?
That’d be quackers.

Neat way to create a donut as we had never been here before. Staff was not very welcoming upon walking in, answering our questions, or making the donuts. Despite being the only ones in the restaurant, the vibe was just off.
As for the quality of the donuts, it’s akin to a sponge cake or twinkie with toppings on it. It was interesting to see, but due to the experience, we won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

I just wanted a hot drink, like coffee, but they're out of chai lattes. They have other stuff though, cappuccinos and such. It's a really nice place, lots of families, and it's on Carlisle Pike – a busy spot.

Legendary Duck Donuts, some of the best fresh donuts you can buy. They make them in house fresh as they are ordered. Every flavor we have had has been delicious and this location made then very good. Wasn't too busy either on a Sunday afternoon
