I used to visit the Dunkin' Donuts on Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg primarily for their iced coffee, but my experiences have been mixed. While I appreciated the variety of flavor options, I often found the iced coffee overly sweet or tasting artificial, especially with the flavored swirls. There were a few times the proportions of coffee, milk, and sweetener just didn’t seem right, leaving me a bit disappointed.
The donuts have been similarly hit-or-miss—sometimes fresh and enjoyable, but other times feeling a bit stale. I’ve since learned that the donuts are not made fresh in-store but are delivered frozen and reheated, which could explain the inconsistent quality. As for the service, it’s been generally friendly and efficient, particularly in the mornings, though order accuracy could occasionally be an issue. Cleanliness is another area where consistency is lacking; while some visits were fine, on others the dining area and restrooms didn’t feel well-maintained, which detracted from the overall experience. I’ve also noticed employees mishandling food on occasion, which is concerning.
I had been avoiding Dunkin' as a whole lately due to these types of quality issues, but I decided to stop in today to give them another chance. Unfortunately, my experience proved that things hadn’t really improved, leaving me hesitant to return in the future. The issues with product freshness, artificial flavors, and occasional cleanliness concerns are enough to make me think twice before visiting again.

I showed up and ordered and the lady was not friendly at the speaker, she also didn't tell me my total, then I pulled to the window and there was no one there and I just saw people inside who would look at me and walk away. Finally the lady came and she told me my total and I gave her a $20 and she didn't give me back my correct change or a receipt. So now I don't think I like this Dunkin anymore. It's too many times that I've had a drink messed up or experienced bad service. I used to go there weekly and try to ignore the issues but they aren't getting any better.
Dietary restrictions: I am lactose intolerant and they have repeatedly had to re make a drink that was supposed to have oatmilk and had regular milk or cream instead. I don't want to sound like one of those times but I also don't want to leave having paid extra for a non-dairy milk and then drink the wrong thing and be sick at work

I used to stop here for my breakfast but like not anymore recently every time it just takes too long to get my order and at this point ill go to panera bread so yeah and over the year the service hasnt been changed and improved. many times when i ask wheres my order and they say hold on. So yeah just go to panera if anything just really go to another location for better service

I visit this location frequently and have always been greeted with a smile regardless of which employer has been working. My order has been prepared exactly according to my instructions and is always hot and fresh. I have not always been able to get particular flavors of Donuts or Munchkins when I have wanted, but I understand that some popular flavors sell faster than others. It happens. The employees are always apologetic and offer an alternative suggestion.

They had amazing service tonight!! Love dunking donuts and the girls at the one on the carlisle pike. I didn't have enough money and they got my 6 year old some extra donuts!!!

I frequent this Dunkin' drive thru for coffee. Coffee is to be expected as far as Dunkin' goes. This drive thru is honestly typically pretty quick. Yes, it can take a while - for example, I was in the drive thru line for 25 minutes from start to finish last weekend (weekend after Labor Day), but overall it does move quickly. The workers are friendly and quick. The layout for drive thru line is unfortunate, however, this Dunkin' has been in the area for much MUCH longer than most others, so Im guessing that's why it's a little odd set up. The only other downside is, again, the location of the drive thru microphone - sometimes the Carlisle Pike is super busy and it's hard to hear the workers talk on the drive thru box. Inside is small with some seating - there is also one table outside, but it's near the drive thru line so it's a little awkward to sit there. Despite the mentioned issues, this is still my go-to Dunkin' in the area! I have never been disappointed with my beverages or food here despite YEARS of going here.

I can’t even finish telling my order, without being rushed to pull forward. One time I ordered on the mobile app and I was trying to look to see if it went through and I was told to get out of line and come back so I didn’t hold up the line even though there was no one behind me. It seems like everything is rushed there. Like they’re just trying to get their times of the drive-through moving. Also, I spent a significant amount of money on my lattes every morning. For them to taste milky, and just sugary. I hate leaving nasty reviews but it’s really disappointing.

it was a good experience. The employee was teaching the lady in front of me how to use the mobile app and she apologize for holding up the line, but I wasn’t in a hurry so it was fine. They did a great job for you with her and I was pleasedbecause she had her order and she said they took her and boom out
