Checking off a spot in the Beer Trail. First time here. Not very busy, but quaint atmosphere. I enjoy the sour I'm having and my wife likes her cocktail. We like to support small local businesses. The staff has been very friendly. Come on in and check this place out. I will have to try another beer or two.

They run out of food every time I've been there, being your own. Bartender/owner not very friendly. No one at my table liked their beer.

Fantastic hole in the wall bar with good atmosphere, live bands, and micro brew beer.Pros: Some of the best home brew level beer I've ever had. Easily rivaling any local brewery and approaching more well known brands like troegs. Below average beer pricing. Very friendly and personable staff (who also own/operate the place). Live entertainment: local small time artists, but very good.Cons: Very small place with limited seating, though this could easily be in the pro category depending on your taste. Very limited menu, only pizzas. I really want to give 5 stars because this is a truly special place.Recently found this place and instantly fell in love. The neighborhood/local community bar feel really drew me in. This truly is a diamond in the rough.

Hemauer brewing is a step above the rest, in forms of friendliness - and their beer is good too! We each had the two sours they offered and were both impressed with them. I had the here fishy fishy (not what it's called but I can't spell that) and it was yummy! Wife had the peach pastry sour and said it was very good as well! We were there too early for the music, but next time we'll have to plan better! We would have loved to have stayed, but it just wasn't in the cards tonight.

Intimate space with plenty of TVs for entertainment. Great selection of beers and ciders. The flatbread pizzas are delicious.

We stopped in early on a Friday night. The place was about half full. By the time we left there was live music and the place was full. Not bad for a joint in a strip mall. The beer and cocktails were ok and reasonably priced. We ordered the beer cheese corn dip, the smashed burger and the pulled pork tacos. For the smash burger I substituted tots for the corn chips and added bacon to the burger. The waiter went to put our order in and then came back to inform us that they were out of tots and bacon. Four of the nine appetizers were tots based. The corn dip was not dip at all. It was a plate of stale corn chips drizzled with liquidity sauce and what appeared to be some colonels of corn, that came from a can tossed on top. When it was delivered I actually told the waiter I think he had the wrong table but he said no. This is the corn dip. I looked at it in disbelief. There was nothing "dip" about it. We did not eat it.When the tacos came out they had no flavor and were bone dry. Disappointing. The two patties in the smash burger were not smashed. They look like the frozen pre-made burgers you buy at a grocery store. Also a disappointment.Service was ok, although I wish we had the guy looking guy as our waiter as her send friendly. Our guy seemed annoyed that everyone was there.

Hemauer Brewing in Mechanicsburg is the best brewery ever. The staff and owners are amazing, friendly, and passionate. The food is great, fresh, and satisfying. The beers are comforting and refreshing, with classic and balanced flavors. Mr. Tank is a must-try, a smooth brew of goodness. Hemauer Brewing is a gem for beer and food lovers.

I stopped here after dinner to sample some of the brews. I must say, I'm very glad I did! Although located in an unassuming strip mall, the inside is welcoming and tastefully decorated. I liked the relatively unique concrete bar. Brooks, the owner and brewer, was fantastic. He was very personable...it felt more like talking to a friend than the owner of the place....about the beer, and life in general. And the beer...it was very good. Hemauer has a variety of brews on tap...everything I tried was very good. Good beer. Good company. Great place. Definitely stop by!!

Food 5/5: really loved the Cubano and and the hot honey fried chicken sandwich. The chicken came out crispy and crispy well seasoned and my cubano came with ample meat and packed with flavor. I'm actually quite picky with my Cubans so I'll be coming back for this. Yes it's the most expensive ish thing on the food menu but you will be full and it's loaded! We also tried the fried pickles and they came out well. Drinks 5/5: lots of beer options and they carry a variety within the space. Not a lot of liquor options but it's a brewery! I liked the fact that you could make your own flight with multiple 5oz options to see what you like. Ambiance 4/5: high tops and a small bar area in the back. It's loud and hard to hear sometimes. Not where I'd pick if you didn't want to be heard as sound carries. More of a casual vibe with boudoir pics in the background. Don't be alarmed! It's art and part of the owner's wife's other business. Nice place for a intro date drink or super casual. Tip: I would look at the appetizer menu ahead with drinks so when they come around your order is in. It can get busy so best come prepared.Overall a solid choice to become a regular at and you can bring kids so a win for families
