Johnny Joe's Sports Bar and Grill

A lot of potential here that doesn’t seem to be taken advantage of. An overly massive bar that’s never full, a whole side room that’s not used on the regular, very (VERY) dated atmosphere.

The very small food menu is on paper that’s been folded over and used up.

The entire other side of this place could be utilized for dinner service, small mini bar and to promote entree specials. Maybe open up at 4pm and whatnot on that side. If not then the entire place needs renovated and updated.

TVs aren’t even great as some of them aren’t even on at the bar. There’s a few that are on and lacking visual quality and need replaced.

Not a great experience but GREAT bar tender, extremely friendly and attentive.

The drinks were cheap, two pool tables, gaming machines, and fun atmosphere.

We only got the boneless wings and fries but I was too scared to order anything else. The chicken was almost gray and clear. The flavor was off-putting to say the least. I don’t think I can put it into words.

The bartender was super nice and took my order of boneless wings off for me (my friend ordered them a few minutes before me so I tried hers before I got mine and quickly ran to the bar to cancel mine)

The bathrooms were pretty gross so try to avoid them if at all possible.

Honestly, if you don't like to smoke, don't ride a motorcycle, and don't like to eat food when you're drinking don't go here...

My first review was amazing. Today went back, same bartender who was not attentive since I was a female. Asked for the phillies game she waited over 30 minutes too busy talking to the men. Was very disappointed in my service today. Do better. I'm a good tipper and she treated less

I frequent Johnny Joes. And I think people get the wrong idea about what kinda of bar Johnny Joes is. It isn’t your fancy pants bar, crazy mixologist, wild beers, life changing food. It is however a reliable place to always get consistent quality food and affordable drinks. It wouldn't hurt if they cleaned the bathrooms every once and awhile but it’s a great time otherwise. They have lottery tickets, pool tables, darts, PA skill machines and a TouchTunes. Sounds standard for a bar but it’s hard to find one this close to home anymore. Smoking is allowed as-well.

Parking: Pretty much unlimited parking. You could easily park a couple bobtails in the parking lot, even with the trailers attached they’d have space to move.

4 stars, but it's always 5 stars on Wednesday night with DJ David ☆☆☆☆☆ and Sever Wendy ☆☆☆☆☆ for karaoke ?? night. Friday nights, the DJ brings the ?? bangerz too! There is a big screen with music videos to watch. Low to med crowd.

Pool tables, darts, long bar, ? smoking, diverse crowd, upbeat, fun, entertaining for sure, and easy to meet new people.

Cons
The Guys bathroom is always a different story when you walk in. Something is always broken or not working. It looks mostly to be patrons' fault more than management thought. The smoke ? is heavy when walking through the pool area to use restrooms. There is no working phone # to call the place for information. That's my reason for -1 star.

It's worth checking on on Wednesday nights if you sing ?? or Friday nights for entertainment and dancing. ????. You never know who's going to walk in.

Parking: More parking than the place can hold people.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is only 1 step to see the DJ / dance area.

If the dart board had remote play I’d be all for this place but it’s not set up on their boards.

Go to this bar if you want to continuously overcharged. I think because they’re a bar and they assume the people they’re serving are drunk, that they don’t pay attention to their tab. The bartenders ON A REGULAR BASIS either overcharge, or “add on” their own tips to the bill. Surprise! Some people aren’t wasted and actually pay attention to this (illegal) nuisance. To take advantage of your patrons like that is sleazy and pathetic.

The bar is 21+. I wanted to shoot pool with my kid, but understandably she wasn't allowed. Smoking is allowed... No cigars. There was an odor in the air... But just a throwback to a time before the smoking bans.

It's a great ?? place to hang out in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania, and I keep winning $100.00 on the Pennsylvania Skills games. So that makes it even better.

If your up for a night drinking and dining with roaches than look no further..this is definitely the place. Atmosphere is terrible, staff is just as bad and the regulars here...well I wouldn't leave my wallet or phone laying around..good luck and get your tetanus shot if you decide to go!!
