Great gem of a place, and the food is so very wonderfully German! As well as the deli and other market items to bring home.

Dirty floors, empty cases, no baked goods visible, small over priced store. Will not be back.

Our family loves German food, and we have never been disappointed in any of the meals we have had. My favorite is jaggerschnitzel, but others in the family have their own special dinners . Their apple strudel is delicious. I have introduced many friends to the restaurant and all loved it and wanted to go back.

Happened upon this place by happenstance, and decided to give it a try. I am very pleased I did. Best Jagerschnitzel I've ever had.

We drive from an hour away just to go to Josie's. We love the food and the fact that we can get German lunch meat and bread to take home makes it well worth the trip.

Good food, great service. Nice atmosphere. They have picnic tables out back with high trees for a nice outdoor meal. If you are German you have to visit if not then you must try.

I was in on a slow day and it was pretty empty which gave me plenty of time to look around. I loved how big the establishment was and all the available options. I left with some packaged goods but I would love to come back for a real meal sometime. I would go again for sure!

Great food as always! Food are range from $8 to $15.You can bring your own drink as they only have bottle water, and there is a charge for them.Owner is very friendly, and her homemade dessert is to die for! Get them, you won’t regret it!Also bring Cash to get a discount! They do take all major credit cards.Parking: Parking situation is interesting. You kind of just park anywhere that is not in the way of others, maybe stressful for the first time. But I found it easy now, as I’m used to it.

I have been dying to get into Josie's for a long time. I finally made it on a rainy Saturday afternoon. My friend and I were the only people there. Our service was prompt and the food was fantastic. I had the jaegerschnitzel with spaetzle. The portions weren't really bigt but it was absolutely delicious. My friend had the rouladen and it looked great. I hope to get back soon and sample some of the other items on the rather limited menu. It's a bright, cheerful spot with a market of German grocery items in the front.

Absolutely delicious! Not sure how this place isn’t packed!!! Home cooked German food to call home about! (I literally called my dad in elatement from their dining room)! The best schnitzel, and jagerschnitzel since being in Germany. The delectable spetzle made just like my Oma used to. We also had the strudel and I teared up at how much it brought me back to my childhood! What a hidden gem! So happy we came here! We ended up leaving with some amazing meats to share with our family as well!

Food came out luke warm, asked for a reheat came back no change. They did drain off the plate full of juice like I asked. No towels in the rest room and a peak in the back revealed a dirty kitchen. I wanted to leave before we ordered but my wife wanted to stick it out. After effects of the meal was unpleasant. What a disappointment after reading the other reviews and driving over an hour to get there. No chance I'll ever go back.

We visited Josie's for the 1st time last week. The atmosohere is quaint, like we were invited to her kitchen table. Our Jagersnitzel and Sauerbraten with Red Cabbage were absolutely spot on and delicious! It was a late weekday evening, so the owner was our hostess, waitress & chef. Talking with her, I learned they are embarking on a 6 month renovation which can only improve the slightly confusing layout of restaurant & deli. Of course we left with dried spatzel noodles & German chocolate from the deli!

We came across Josie’s German Cafe on our way down to Florida. It is located not too far off of the 83 highway.Once we arrived we were greeted and seated promptly. The hostess was extremely nice.My father being German and myself living in Germany in the past agreed that the restaurant was very authentic to a small German gasthaus. My father ordered the rolauden with spaetzle and red cabbage. My mother and I both had the jagerschnitzel also with spaetzle. The jager sauce was by far one of the best I have tasted even in Germany. All of the food was top quality and as I said would give any restaurant in Germany a run for their money and I have been to many over there and have had many schnitzels. We all agreed if we lived in the area we would come by at least once a week. The hostess (also the chef) informed us that you are allowed to bring your own wine and beer, which is a nice option. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing meal.Paul
