Haven’t been there but reading how the owner responds to any negative reviews made my decision for me. Yikes.
Edit 2: I attempted to reach out to the owner to clarify her accusations that I’m somehow telling people to leave negative reviews, and I would have been more than willing to have a conversation but she has blocked me.
Edit: for the owner lol, the original post in moms of Mechanicsburg is not mine, you can’t post anonymously and then comment as yourself. No where have I said others should leave bad reviews. I stand by my review because this is so wildly unprofessional I will never patronize this business. Please provide proof I’ve told anyone to review your business negatively before accusing me of such.
As someone who used to work in reviews the #1 rule is to provide an email to resolve issues privately, not lash out publicly in review comments.

In response. No one on facebook gave orders to give bad reviews this is of my own right. I have never stepped inside and I am not persuaded to now. . many people I know have been and they all were disappointed. My one star review is based of your inability to take responsibility and just do better rather than continuing to attack your customer just because their experiences aren't top tier( which is your fault. Your business an all) they are exercising their right to freedom of speech and educate other possible customers. You bashing your customers for negative reviews is disgusting and I'd never spend my money or tell anyone to go here based on your attitude. Your response could easily be " I apologize for your bad experience, I pride myself on customers having a pleasant time. Please join us again for the proper Jubilee cake studio experience . " they give anyone an LLC with no customer service training.

Very nice facility, a bit spartan but perfect for kids. Very very organized and kids said it was one of the best birthdays they have had. The cupcakes are really tasty and the kids had a blast making them as well. This is a very good experience. Only downside is thing is no out side drinks which means even your coffee. And then their own food is a bit pricy. If they dropped it by 25% it would be a fine deal.

After speaking to the management, I now understand that the water policy. They have free water available and a water fountain. I appreciate them answering my question!

We went to play in the Mini Mansions part of the studio. If you've ever been to Tiny Town in Lancaster, this is very similar. My 5 and 2 year old loved it. We got the mini play pass since that was more cost effective if we wanted to come back. We went during Little Peeps playtime on a sunny Wednesday so we had the place to ourselves. The big downside and the reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star review is that they don't let you bring your own water bottles into the studio. I understand a policy about not outside food or drinks but I've never heard of not even letting water inside. That was completely ridiculous. We will still be back but I urge management to reconsider their water policy.

We recently celebrated my child's 7th birthday at Jubilee Cake Studio, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was set up perfectly. The kids had an amazing time decorating their own cupcakes, and the variety of toppings and decorations available was impressive. The studio was clean, bright, and cheerful, creating the perfect atmosphere for a fun-filled party. The staff was patient and helpful, guiding the children through the decorating process and making sure everyone was having a great time. My child and their friends left with big smiles and beautiful creations. We also added the extra hour for the play houses and all the kids had a blast! They had a great time running around, using their imagination (and staying off their tablets 😉), and getting all their energy out. I highly recommend Jubilee Cake Studio for anyone looking to host a memorable and enjoyable birthday party!

WHAT WE LIKED: Cute tiny town, Kind staff, Great location.
WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE:
If you're not going to accommodate any allergies then you should allow drinks and food from outside. I get not allowing food/drinks in the tiny town area but the decorating area?

It is way too crowded at the entrance.
Get rid of the giant tables and put in some cubbies for storing bags and shoes and coats. One small shoe rack was not enough for a busy Sunday.

Need wet wipes or napkins in each decorating setup. It gets messy.

Needs clearer signage. Stand up signs for where patrons are NOT to sit or which seat is yours if it's assigned. This was confusing for at least 3-4 families that were there at the same time we were.

I am hesitant to write this review, but I feel obligated to share our experience truthfully.
Before booking, we went into the studio to check it out. We inquired about pricing for a party and were told that the Cupcake Party would be $300 for the first 6 kids, and an additional $10 per child. (As confirmed by my party booking confirmation, which is attached as a photo). We were also told that the Mini Mansions would be an additional $10 per child, and that to access this pricing, we needed to select the Cupcake Party first, with the Mansion add on. Sounds like it would be pretty straight forward math at $300 for the first 6 kids, and an additional $20 for any additional children.
I updated my guest count to 18 kids a week ahead, and requested a subtotal based on my selections. I was told a subtotal was not available. I don’t understand why someone could not complete the calculations based on current count of kids and add-ons (18 kids, 2 pizzas at $15 each and an explosion cake at $40). We should have been at $610 ($300 for the first 6 kids, $20 per additional kid (12 additional kids), $30 for pizza, $40 for the cake).
The host confirmed our party plan & add ons multiple times, which was appreciated. We updated our add ons to include a third pizza with the understanding that we would be charged for it. In the end, we ended up getting the third pizza and an extra dozen cupcakes for free. We did not expect freebies, but were appreciative of the gesture.
The party host led the kids through choosing their cupcake supplies and left us to decorate the cupcakes. This was expected, so I had an adult available to help their child with decorating. When cupcakes were completed, however, and we were waiting for pizza and cake to be brought out, we were stuck waiting for an extended period. By extended period, I mean 15-20 minutes, waiting for pizza and again waiting for cake, where little ones were getting antsy & wandering around. Any parent that has had a sugar rushed child knows that asking that child to hold still for 15-20 minutes is nearly impossible, let alone asking a total of 22 kids to be still.
At the end, we went to pay for the party. When ringing out, our total somehow came to $1,108.30, after our $100 deposit had been deducted. We were then informed that it was $37 per child. $27 for each child to decorate cupcakes, and an additional $10 each to use the play area. This is not what we agreed to. It is not what my confirmation says. Despite this, we paid for the party because that is what is morally right, although we whole-heartedly feel like we were deceived. There were other families present in addition to our own, so we were not about to cause a scene or be disruptive. However, this business clearly has some trouble being transparent with their pricing. Why are they sending confirmations at one price, and then refusing to confirm pricing when asked, and then shocked when people question the total at the end of the event? I think their lack of transparency of what they are actually going to charge is absolutely ridiculous, and borderline fraudulent.

I think your response only validates other concerns on other reviews. I commend you on the level of theatrics and story telling you can concoct behind a keyboard. Well done! I'm sure others seeing these reviews will also be able to see right through your show, considering I am not the first, and unfortunately won't be the last that you run through the mud for a negative review.
Perhaps you should use Google reviews as the tool it is intended to be to better your business after seeing the customer's concerns, rather than going on the attack. Google Reviews is a platform for sharing experiences with a business. If you don't like the honest reviews, maybe changes should be made? Imagine that!

If you want a unique experience that is kid friendly, this is it! The studio and play space are bright, clean and pretty large. We visited for the first time today and enjoyed doing both the play area and decorating cake and cupcakes. The Mac n cheese menu has many options and we enjoyed not having to go somewhere do lunch and could do it all on one spot! Most spaced like this have a snack bar only and we appreciated the lunch options! Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Jubilee Cake Studio!

Great experience! We recently did the decorate cookies with Santa event.

The unexpected surprise us that they turned half of their space into a kid city of exploration. There's an hourly fee, you have to pay for stocks, but it's 💯% worth it.

Thanks for the awesome service, we can't wait to come back again!

The staff was short, didn’t explain things well, and made us wait before entering about 10 to 15 minutes. The kids play area was a mess, no one was cleaning or tending to it while the children were playing. There was a chunk of hair in the ball pit and a lot of the balls in the pit were broken. It’s a cute place with potential, but it wasn’t a good first experience.

Hard to pick a place to begin, but I’ll just summarize very simply with customers do not come first here. Buyers beware, this establishment thinks entirely too highly of themselves and could use a lesson in humility and customer service. If I save just one person from going here because of this review, I’ll consider it a success. (Also, what business owner threatens police/blackmail in their responses to negative reviews? I mean lol). Take your money elsewhere moms - Where the Wild Things Play is light years ahead of this joint.

EDIT POST OWNER REVIEW: I didn’t say you blackmailed me? Read closer. Also, chill with the theatrics 🥱

We went here last week for the first time and loved it! Highly recommend!!!
The owner and her daughter were friendly and helpful!

We held my daughter’s birthday party here and were delighted by the entire process! The staff was professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our newly-minted seven-year-old and her spirited friends had a wonderfully fun time decorating cupcakes, eating pizza, and opening presents. As an elementary school teacher with almost two decades of experience, I was impressed by the way the young employees handled themselves and interacted with the children; they gave them appropriate support while allowing them to be kids (making messes, skipping over to acquire new decorating tools, etc.). Thank you, Oakley and Kyra for a wonderful time!

We recently visited with my two grandchildren. Upon entering we were met by an employee who went over how the decorating worked. After asking about the play area, we were told they needed grippy socks to play, but oh they sell them there for $3.00 so I went and bought some while they were making cupcakes. After making cupcakes, my daughter went to pay for the play area (which is for 2 hours) and showed the employee the socks I had purchased and was then told that even the adult had to wear grippy socks. This whole grippy socks would have been ok if it had been advertised that they were needed to play which it is not anywhere on their website.
They played for 50 minutes. I noticed a young girl, 9/10 years old watching/entering the play area. Upon that the same employee went to the play area and told a mother of two that the baby she was holding had to wear grippy socks, the mother explained that the baby isn’t walking yet. None the less, the mother put grippy socks on the baby. Very odd but ok. Then the employee approached me, asked about the socks, I showed her what they were wearing and the socks she approved. She immediately said oh no they can’t wear those. They need ones with small dot grips on them. I asked why is a young child tattle telling on customers. Their employee (who apparently is the owners daughter) flipped a switch and accused me of calling her little sister a name, she basically accosted me (never had that happen before!) I was only stating the obvious. After asking her to calm down several times, which she didn’t. We asked for the manager. The manager, her mom, didn’t even ask us what happened or didn’t care. We asked for a refund and she basically laughed and said they played.
I have never been treated so poorly at a business and I was in shock at the disrespect and unprofessional behavior of the owner and her daughter. There are pictures posted with children wearing crocs/shoes in the play area. I am very disappointed that this business doesn’t care enough to ask the customer what really happened. At the very least, they should have left them play for their 2 hours with the approved grippy socks but told that different grippy socks would be needed the next time.

*RESPONSE TO OWNER*
The group of us who visited indeed did pay for 1 adult. There was only 1 adult in the play area for the little time we were allowed to utilize the play area. The underaged employee who registered us never instructed any adults to sign a waiver. I have never nor would ever cuss or harass a child, as I have worked in childcare for many years. The people in our party in the play area had grippy socks that were approved by another employee and we were not offered “their” socks following being told ours were not “correct”.

I recently took my 3-year-old daughter here for the second time, and we had an amazing experience once again. Initially, we went for the mini mansions, but we ended up staying to decorate cupcakes as well. The staff, particularly Tawnna, Oakley, and Becca, were incredibly helpful and super friendly during both of our visits.

Each time we've been there, the experience has been not only fun but also very personable and welcoming. The genuine kindness and warmth they showed made our visits even more special. My daughter had an absolute blast, and it's clear that the team truly cares about creating a joyful experience for everyone who walks through the door.

We will most definitely be back. I can't recommend Jubilee Cake Studio highly enough!
