Too expensive for food and quality compare to other fast food restaurants, even kids meal

6/6/2025 approximately 6pm I went into the KFC. I ordered an 8 peace bucket with mashed potatoes, gravy and coleslaw. I asked if it would be a problem 2, just get dark mate. And they said that would be fine about 30 seconds later. The girl comes back to me and says, we don't have any chicken legs. An original recipe when extra crispy be o k? ( I asked for original recipe ) I said it would be fine. I could only see two people behind the counter, i'm not saying that there was no one else there, just that I could only see two people. Neither person was wearing gloves or hair nets. And their hair was long in bushy. The chicken what's horrible! The extra crispy wasgie all of the chicken. Tasted like. It had been sitting there for 3 or 4 hours. In fact, it didn't quite taste as good as the grocery store chicken in the hot bar. I really understand two things from this experience.... I understand why there was only 2 very old customers end place. And I understand why they only have a 3.1 rating in their reviews

LJS first to eat in several years. Service was outstanding, cashier over selling herself. Someone in open room behind counter on cell phone, of course. Floor was like walking in drying glue. Tables you had to wipe off yourself. All food was cooked in the same vat, fish, fries, hushpuppies, and new strawberry things.

I stopped at this KFC combo location on my way to NC. I will never stop at this location again. When we first walked in we stopped to use the restrooms they where extremely dirty and they did not have cold water the water was scorching hot and nearly burnt my hand, I had to walk away with soup on my hands because the water was way to hot to continue washing the soup off.
Preceded to the order/register area and was met with a nice employee although there was a miscommunication over wanting boneless chicken and I got bone in I could understand that the result was simple miscommunication. I went and set down and the table was not clean at all there was crumbs all over the table so I got up and set at another table which appeared to be sticky. I ate my food and left I would not go back to this location again as it was quite dirty and thought that it was kind of strange that there was no cold water.

I ordered a 3 piece tender with mashed. It cost me $13. I got 3 pieces of chicken 2 thighs and a leg. I repeated the order 2 times at the drive thru and it was still wrong. Never again. Too expensive and not what I want. Total lack of respect for the customer.

This KFC is located at intersection of RT 114 and Carlisle Pike, highly visible. I'm surprised during this Wednesday dinner hour there was only 1 old couple dining! OK, there were 2 people and 1 person doing the take-out order. But I'd expect more.
I read some horrible reviews here at Yelp after my visit. Gees, I was lucky my experience wasn't bad at all. I made a mobile order on my phone. After getting there, I only had to wait 5 more minutes after they acknowledged my name. I got the Taste of KFC 2 pc Deal: 1 drum, 1 back, 1 biscuit, and 1 mashed potato for $6.99; and I used a promo code to get a 3-Chicken Tender Box (with small fries and a biscuit) for free ($5.99 value). So far so good.
As for the food, chicken tasted good though greasy and the back piece had very little meat. Fries were salty. Biscuit was great but could be bigger. Overall, not too bad at all. I would come again if there's another good offer.

Time was excessive. Excited for fresh tenders though. No comeback sauce. And the tenders are the saddest tenders I’ve ever seen. Like the got a light seasoned batter… this was the last time for me here, as it never changes, as much as I want it.
Called to see if they had a particular item and they at first didn't answer then they hung up when the finally did, what poor customer service.

Everything was okay, I guess. The fish, chicken pieces, and fries, we're a bit too greasy. I know that's how it's all cooked but still a big greasy.

Easily the saddest fast food place I've been too. People in front of us got all their food wrong, staff was arguing with each other and seemed defeated. Bummed me out.
