Metro Diner- Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg- has scored a 10/10 again when it comes to food, service, and all around a phenomenal experience 🙌🏽 I ordered the Fried Chicken Benedict, Iron City Meatloaf, and the Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding. My friend ordered the Fried Chicken Plate. I want to mention that we arrived around 7:15pm, near closing time. Our chicken was fried perfectly... Golden, crispy, and juicy!!! My over easy eggs were cooked to perfection, the Hollandaise Sauce was smooth, creamy, and flavorful. The biscuits- MY GOODNESS😋-Scrumptious‼️Meatloaf, Mashes Potatoes & Gravy- Claud Have Mercy!… Sooooo Delish😋 Awesome waitress🙌🏽 Shout out to the Cooks- They score everytime- Regardless of how close it was to closing time for the day, our food tasted as if they just opened for the day-FRESH🕺🏽💃🏽. Thanks Metro Diner for remaining consistent and having such great staff. I’m gonna write your name on my wall- AMAZING once again👌🏽

I ordered biscuits and gravy (which includes eggs and home fries!) I could barely finish the biscuits and gravy and I took the eggs and home fries with me. The food was delicious and they're very generous with their servings. The waitress was professional and kept my coffee cup full. I will definitely be going back to the Metro Diner!

Usually the food is really good i get a club or chicken sandwich around once a week but lately its been getting inconsistent. And today i had to peel off burnt old cheese from the bottom of my chicken cause the grill wasnt cleaned. Seasoned fries were still good tho. Hopefully it was just a one time thing.

Drove down the Pike this morning around 7am, saw the open signs flashing and figured I would try it. I was wrong. They don't open till 8am. Edit: Went back this morning around 730, open lights were on. Wasted some time at home depot till 8. Servers were very friendly, especially Jordan my server. I had the San Fran Benedict and it was very good! Would definitely grill the tomato next time. Definitely worth the trip back.
