Haven't been there in years long over do to catch up with Julist I worked at the grove on security detail always went there was good then and shure nothings changed great food and owner a good man. 😇
By far THE best cheesesteak in central PA. You pay more but it is definitely worth it. I've paid less for subs that didn't even come close to the subs here.
Hands down best cheese steak in this bum ass Harrisburg,& I'm a philly native born & raised, a basic cheese steak consist of mayo spk, fo...all that other shit is not a cheese steak...but these guys do it the best up here...no one else up here has good steaks or food for that matter, but this place is the truth...
Excellent sandwich!!
It's a great little spot that's 100% down home and dedicated to great food. Want fried anything? They got you. Cheesteak is what you want and get with confidence and a soft roll. Portions are so big they use rubber bands to close them! That's a testament to service and how they strive to feed people beyond the limits of plates and boxes; that doesn't matter here, eat well, and leave happy.
Great place for a good lunch. The cheesesteak was delicious with just the cheese and onions.
If you pass by this place around noon, go inside, because you'll miss it in a few hours.

1st time here...can never tell if its open. But a car in the lot.... had their cheesesteak. With a few fries to try. Loved the cheesesteak. Loved the bun. It's all about the bun (per hubby). Had a nice chat with the owner. Will stop in again & hopefully dine in next time & have another cheesesteak & try something else!

It’s hard for me to find a good cheese steak and I travel all around PA, MD, WV, DE and NY…. In this area, this is by far THE BEST! Julius what awesome! Nice little spot (we all know these “hole-in-the-walls” are always the best!”) I love it when work sends me through here because this place will always be on my route!
