QuickChick Shawarma and Grill

My order was to go. Today the salad was beyond sour and schwarma was very salty. I called to tell them how disappointed I was and they became defensive and said they just made the salad 20 minutes ago-absolutely no way-it tasted like it was a week old. Bad days happen, but at least accept responsibility when you have a bad day! I’ll never go back not because of bad food, but because they don’t care that they serve bad food.

The only thing that beats the quality of food is the level of customer service. My new go to lunch spot.

Good food, friendly people. Kufta kabob is really good.

This place is awesome! I just recently started getting into shawarma and found this place online. There is seating inside for dine in or you can take out. I got the chicken shawarma over rice with a side of hummus, Mediterranean salad and Taziki. All the food was amazing. The owner was so sweet and check on us a lot, gave us samples of some of the sides since it was our first time and gave us extra pita. Will definitely be coming back!

First visit to Quick Chick and will NOT be the last!! We decided to visit based off of the many positive reviews. As soon as we entered Abdulla greeted us and we told him it was our first time here. He explained all the different dishes and then offered to bring us a sample of sides so we could pick the ones we wanted. We got the Danny Bowl, the Mixed Grill and an order of hummus-all made fresh to order! The hummus was amazing (making me question what I’d been eating previously!) and the flavors of everything we had were wonderful.
We had a great conversation after we finished and learned all about his family and where the name of the restaurant came from. We highly recommend the food and Abdulla makes the visit memorable!
Can’t wait to go back!

Delicious and authentic food! I have been searching for a good Mediterranean place near mechanicsburg that offers more than Greek food, and this is it! They even have my favorite European soda( I suggest the pomegranate) and a great array of appetizers and plates. Will be recommending this to all my friends.

I was shocked by the owner's behavior. After a minor misunderstanding he had with my Autistic Child, he became aggressive and accused me of insulting him and his business. This was completely unwarranted and ruined my experience.

Maybe the best falafel I have ever eaten! Way better than all the other restaurants in PA.
In general, prices are great and food is delicious.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Side options could be communicated better.
You should sell a 'mezze platter' item with pita, a few dips, and maybe a few falafel! I would get that every visit.

I found the rice a little boring, but that's just me.

Wow, wow, wow! This place slaps! Definitely giving this one 2 thumbs up!

The Fiancé and I came here on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

We were inspired to try the mixed grill from a TikTok video we saw by @plateskraperz.

The mixed grill came with 3 diffent meats, lamb, chicken shish tawook, and kufta kabob. We got this served with the rice and a side of baba ghanoush and Tahini salad.

We also ordered the hummus, which is made fresh, seved with Pita. The owner was kind enough to give us a sample of the taziki.

Now for the review of the food. The meat was so tender, and filled with flovor that makes you want to not stop eating.

I made myself a pita wrap with the baba ganoush, hummus, taziki, tahini salad, rice and little bit of each meat. Let me tell you, this was one of the best things I have ever had, an explosion of flavors in your mouth! So good and tasted so fresh!

Each side has a great flavor to it, but when combined it slaps!

My Fiancé felt the same way! We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was the only dull thing, however if you're like me and you enjoy trying new food, you need to give this one a go. You will not be dissapointed!

Food- Best Babagannouge! Falafel and garlic aioli were superb. Hummus, tabouleh, salad was okay. Pickled veggies were too salty just add a bit of sugar and it would be perfect. Chicken was small portion, sauce is okay. I had Shawarma plenty of times, so I think something was missed with the marinate, or it needs to be grilled better. I would not dice the chicken too small, or else the meat becomes too dry if not freshly cooked from the grill. Beef wrap was okay, it's missing onions. Lebanese flatbread wraps are similar, so I'm used to it being loaded. I would recommend giving any dips something to dip it with, even carrot sticks or cucumbers, I didn't know what else to use except to put it in our hot meals. The imported sodas were delicious, do get pomegranate/strawberry.

Service was beyond 5+. I think we spoke to the manager, who let us try samples of their appetizers since we have never been there. Very hospitable and took pride in their food.

Atmosphere - I can tell it was something before (maybea pizza shop), and nothing much changed. The name does let me know it's simple and quick like mall food vendors, but I think they should redo and make it into a bistro. Dim the lights, make it look Mediterranean, and deli display the case of their desserts and sides/salad/appetizers. The visual of a large pile of tabouleh is stunning.

Overall, DO come for wonderful service.

Nice Halal shawarma place. For the first time I also tried Dubai Chocolate at this location. Nice people too.
