5 stars for the bagel, the actual bagel is really good. The strawberry cream cheese is mid, very fake strawberry tasting i give that 2 stars. The cranberry muffin is ok. Now let's talk about the older guy that works there. Your customers shouldn't see you disgruntled with an employee. I was in there 20 min before you were closing, you should wait until everyone's gone or not within hearing distance to complain about an employee and then tell them to leave. No matter the situation, handle it more professionally.

THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE IN CENTRAL PA TO GRAB A BAGEL OR BREAKFAST SANDWICH!
The bagels are incredible. The atmosphere is comfortable with no non-sense. You order your bagel, grab some coffee, and enjoy. It's simple. There are no annoying punch-cards, long menus, trendy coffee orders, or annoying over-the-top fake happiness. There is only good food, good service, and unbelievable consistency.

I relocated to Tennessee in 2011, but when I visit family Pennsylvania, this is one of the places that I visit. I started coming here around 2001 and got hooked. As far as I can tell, they have not changed since then, and that’s GREAT news. (Somehow Joe still recognizes me as a semi-anonymous but familiar face after all these years.)

Everything bagel was amazing!!
Hands down, the best tasting bagels and homemade bagel sandwiches in Central PA and one of the last places that serve amazing salt bagels. Also, they have many, many flavors to choose from.

Let’s talk about this place….Because if you’re not coming here for breakfast, what are you doing???
I’m from New York, but I’ve been in Pennsylvania for about 6 years now. Best bagels outside of NY that I’ve ever had.
I come here when I’m feeling homesick, it instantly feels like I’m back in NY walking in and the food is legendary.
(Also, thank YOU for a true NY portion of cream cheese, these other places out here just don’t get it) 😁🤣

Favorite bagel place, the bagels are good, the service is good, and everything about the shop feels authentic, they’re not trying to be something they’re not. This is always my go to.

The owner is rude. I ordered 1 bagel sandwich. No one in line when I ordered. Multiple people came in after me ordering Multiple sandwich. After the 4 person after me left and waiting 25 minutes ask owner about my order. Grumble something about you get it when done. Simple bagel with double egg and cheese. No prices posted. Got thin layer if egg barely covered bagel. Obviously not double egg. Maybe the new bagel shop hurt his business and attitude.
