This was a very pleasant experience. I ordered their fish and chips special and it was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive but not suffocating. Place was busy but atmosphere was relaxing. All in all, it was a great experience. I would recommend this diner very highly.
If you're going to promote a dish, it should be because it's good, not because you want to sell it off instead of throwing it away
Service was great! Food was good !!! Nice place for a later dinner!!
The food is fantastic, the waitress SUCKED. She made it abundantly evident that she wanted to be anywhere except here. Portions sizes amazing, Greek dressing and seasoning on point.
We went during the day for a late breakfast. Everyone there was so nice. Great place to take the kids, and their prices are good too. The waitress even gave her kids some stuffed animals. It was very kind to her.
I have a good meal every time I come in here.
Went here for lunch. Had a meatlovers omelette. I was not disappointed it was actually good. I am sure I will eat here again. Would like to try other things

For those who haven't been, I would highly recommend their:
1. French Onion Soup
2. Plain Cheesecake with fruit topping
3. Athenian Panini
I keep forgetting to take the photos of the food before attacking it - sorry! 😅
Honestly, theirs are the best...🤩❤️
I knew I would never eat at Silver Spring Diner again once I tasted the coffee this morning. It is just such bad coffee. I had to use half & half and sugar to make it palatable, but I prefer black coffee. We ordered omelets. I cannot believe that $1.25 is the cost to make a profit on the amount of cheese needed for an omelet, and refused to pay to add cheese to mine. My meat lover's omelet was okay, but the hash browns were so sad and flavorless; they really brought down the whole plate. My husband's cheese steak omelet only had shaved steak and cheese in it, it tasted so bland. My daughter's blueberry pancakes were good, but nothing can make up for the terrible coffee. I have not been to the Silver Spring Diner in more than a decade, and I will spend the rest of my life avoiding it.
Great food
I highly encourage a visit to this diner. They have a menu diverse enough to suit almost any pallet and as many times as I have visited, each item I've tried was tasty. The cost is a bit more but not outrageous and well worth it. This is the perfect place for a larger group or family because they can accommodate and satisfy each individual. This visit we had mozzarella sticks, the french dip pannini and cheese steak.
Went here for a kinkster munch and had the Reuben and it came out piping hot. Fries were super crisp and went perfectly with mayo... also the soda was perfectly carbonated.
Waitress had our table and another section and she was wonderful working in 2 sections that are on opposite sides of the restaurant.
Prices vary from $5-$15.
