We ordered online and never received a time for pick up; nothing after the order or on the receipt so that was frustrating. When we finally got the food, it wasn’t flavorful. The only thing we liked was the chicken coconut curry but it wasn’t great. The garlic naan tasted old and flavorless. We’ll stick to our normal go-to spot.

We ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and Veg Momo, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. First of all, the chicken in the chow mein was undercooked. The momo tasted old, like it had been frozen for weeks, and the chutney was just as bad—tasted old and off. Both the momo and chutney seemed like they had been sitting around way too long.

Nepalese restaurant with indian food options as well. The Nepalese food is good but indian options are average. Staff is courteous and will try to accommodate uour feedback / requests. We ordered non veg momos and samosa in appetisers and momos were good, samosas were returned. Staff happily waved off the charges.

I have had many discussions with people of Mechanicsburg & Harrisburg about where to go for great Indian food since the restaurant closed on front Street. Spice is it! They serve delicious, spicy ( or mild) dishes. We ordered Tandoori chicken which was tender and full of flavor. The mango lasse was a perfectly balanced blend of mango and yogurt. The Tikka masala was creamy, with an abundance of sauce. They could increase the meat in the dishes by three pieces. Perfection.Service was spectacular and they understood family style dining. Some of the best Indian food in the Tri-state area!

I don’t even know where to begin — Spice Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat… it’s a culinary portal straight to the heart of Nepal. This place absolutely blew my mind. If you’ve never had real, authentic Nepali food, prepare yourself. If you have had it before — this is the place that will ruin all other spots for you forever.

The moment I walked in, the aromas hit me like a warm Himalayan hug. Cardamom, cumin, garlic, ginger… and something magical I still can’t identify. I felt like I had just walked into someone’s kitchen in Pokhara.

🔥 MOMOS — don’t even think about skipping these. Little dumplings of pure joy. Steamed, pan-fried, or chili-style — they come out sizzling, perfectly seasoned, and served with a tomato chutney that I would legit drink by the cup.

🍛 GOAT CURRY — this dish is absolutely wild. Deep, rich, tender meat in a bold gravy that hits you with layers of flavor — earthy, spicy, slightly smoky. I’d put this curry up against anything, anywhere.

🥬 GUNDROOK KO JHOL — fermented mustard greens in a tangy, soulful broth — this is the dish your Nepali grandmother would’ve made if you were lucky enough to have one.

🌶️ And the spice level? They don’t hold back. It’s bold and unapologetic, the way real Nepali food should be — but still balanced so you taste everything.

Service? Warm, friendly, and proud — you can tell this food means something to them. It’s not just a job. It’s a story, a legacy, and a gift they’re sharing.

Bottom line: Spice Restaurant is the best-kept secret around. If you’re within 100 miles of this place, make the drive. Cancel your dinner plans, bring an appetite, and prepare to have your taste buds taken on a Sherpa-guided expedition through the Himalayas.

Absolutely unforgettable.

I visited this place for the fifth time because their foods...no words to explain it's extremely good and have very nice parking behind the building. I and my friend sent couples hours their with Nepali and Indian beers by playing free pool. I'm a real, spicy kind of guy and this place just hits the spot for me. Super friendly. Very fresh. ..
