I am mom of preschoolers and I had a really tough morning with them and was feeling super overwhelmed. I thought I would treat myself by going through the Starbucks drive-thru. I thought I had done a great job playing off the stress of my morning while I ordered and paid. However, a sweet barista named Scott popped back out of the drive-thru window with empty hands. My drink wasn't ready but Scott genuinely looked at me and asked how I was doing. He thoughtfully and empathetically looked at me and made me feel so seen. It's like you knew exactly what I needed! 😇🙏⛪ He knew exactly what to say and do to help encourage me all in the short amount of time it took to have my drink prepared. I know that Starbucks is a big chain but every interaction that I have had at this location has been delightful. Scott was an absolute Godsend and I hope he gets to see this because I can't stop raving about him to everyone that I talked to yesterday/today too! Please help pass along my thanks to him!

This Starbucks location is a complete disaster. I had strived to save time by ordering my coffee on the app, as my son had a doctor’s appointment far away and wanted to arrive early. However, we ended up waiting in the already incredibly long line, and they informed us that our drinks weren’t ready. Naturally, we had to wait in the line again, which was still very long. It was extremely unprofessional and disappointing, especially considering the high price of the coffee. The customer service was absolutely terrible! As someone who works in the service industry, I would never behave that way.
Love Starbucks drinks and food. Barnstable are friendly!

i would love to take a moment to appreciate the service here it’s great i would like to give a shout out to my guy zach he was great he treated us very well and always welcomes us with a smile always has great energy and i would always come back he took great care of me and my girlfriend!! shout out my guy zach!!

I don’t normally write a ton of reviews, but I felt like what I experienced today deserved one. The man working the window at this Starbucks today was unbelievably kind & SO happy. This is hard to come by nowadays a lot of the time. He had a huge smile on his face & his customer service was outstanding! Truly made a positive impact on my day! I didn’t get to catch his name but whoever he is, thank you! We need more people in the world like you. (:

Wish I could give 0 stars. This is the closest store to my house so I’ve gone there a lot. 1/5 in service and friendliness. Not only do you have to stand there forever waiting for someone to acknowledge you but god forbid you ask for anything extra. I tried to mobile order and had asked for a cup of ice when I picked up my drink, they made me go back and wait in line to order a free cup of ice. What’s the point of mobile order if you have to go back and stand in line for a cup of ice?? Being the closest I still went despite this until 2 months ago, I got a breakfast sandwich and iced coffee, I had to add half and half, so I used the creamer in the thermos where the sugars etc are. I hate using those because I never know how long it’s been out or if the dried milk all over the lid has bacteria growing, but again, ask for anything extra and it’s the biggest problem in the world. That was all I had to eat that day and a few hours later I was violently sick. I’m all set. Work on not being so rude, and not making your guests sick.

7:04pm Wednesday, Sept 17, 2025 - 260 Cumberland Pkwy: the drive-through cashier with dark hair and a scarf around her head was SO incredibly rude and condescending! Such an attitude!! Clearly you don't need my business. I guess I should thank you, though. Your extremely rude employee is the impetus I needed to drop my daily Starbucks breakfast/brunch and coffee/frappe runs! I was going to pick up sandwiches for breakfast the next morning, too, but forget it. Never again.

The coffee itself is fine but the customer experience is terrible. I don't know if this is the only location that pushes back on mobile orders, but it seems to have gotten so difficult to simply buy from Starbucks. The app defaults to in store and if you forget to change it, you have to go inside for the drink. If you select drive thru but the order isn't ready, they tell you to go through another 20 minute wait in their drive thru. It's just coffee. I don't understand why it's become so complicated and frustrating. If I ordered in the drive thru instead of the app would I need to come back through if it wasn't ready by the time I got to the window? At this point, I feel like the app is problematic for both customers and employees.
