I had been wanting to try Thea since they opened and finally had a chance to go for dinner last night. Overall, Thea was a great experience! The appetizers were my favorite. We got the calamari and fried buratta (which was a special). My entree was the meatloaf which wasn't as great as I had hoped, but also not bad. I want to go back and try a pasta dish next time and also dessert (they all sounded fantastic). Reservations recommended and BYOB!

Have hag great experiences in the past. However, last night we were put in the corner of the almost empty tent room and forgotten. After our appetizers , which were very good, there was a long wait for entrees and no visit from our server. Entrees arrived and were ok, but nothing outstanding. Server did not return to check on our satisfaction with our entrees and never refilled water etc. In fact, we had to ask another server than had returned to her two tables multiple times in the at least twenty minutes we sat waiting after finishing our entrees. The server returned with no apology and went on as usual. We reluctantly ordered dessert and had apple crisp that was was a soupy cup of almost uncooked apples with ice cream on top. We asked for the check when dessert arrived fearing we would be waiting a long time for our server to return. Service and quality of food should live up to the prices being charged. Very disappointing.

Homey vibe, staff is very courteous, and the food is great. Please do yourself a favor and try the Brie Brûlée appetizer! 10/10

I was at Thea for lunch today with a friend. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. I made reservations and requested my favorite server, Sarah. As always, Sarah did a stellar job as server and she is always engaging. I had the blackened halibut sandwich and fries, along with fries. It was delicious. I really like the atmosphere here , the food, and Sarah. Look for a reservation from me again soon! Thank you!

The dishes we had on Valentine’s Day were absolutely delicious. Even the truffle fries appetizer tasted amazing!Making a reservation over the phone was easy as they were kind and accommodating. Our waitress Nicole also provided 10/10 service throughout the entire evening. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone in the area!

Went to Thea for Valentines Day dinner thinking it would be a special dinner. Made a reservation several weeks in advance. We were sat outside in their covered drafty patio in a far corner next to a large HVAC fan. I asked to be moved but was told there was nothing else available. Clearly there were other empty tables both inside the restaurant and outside in the drafty patio but farther away from the loud fan. Fortunately my partner had a positive attitude about this saying "Why let this ruin the dinner" so I was most thankful for that. The food was nice...not perfect...but it was just as expensive as everyone else who got to enjoy the nice ambiance inside the restaurant. I will not be returning.

Our server Sara was attentive and struck a beautiful balance between service and providing space to socialize. A table visit by Sophia at the end of our meal, to ask about our experience, was a classy touch.

I was introduced to Thea through a Symphony event and now I'm looking forward to returning. The atmosphere was so modern and light. The service staff and management so accommodating and the food was delicious. So I'll post again once I return, but I was most impressed.

Tucked away in a little urban like cluster of shops, is this savory spot. The service is exceptional. The room, tasteful and welcoming. And the food is delicious. The only issue or setback was the table of self important overly entitled fuc#'s that sat next to us. Unfortunately that can happen anywhere.Highly recommend giving this place a go.....update.... This place is still very good; but they have not updated the menu in well over a year.

Very good food and service. My only complaint is that it's BYOB and they don't advertise that very well, at least through Open Table booking they don't. Overall great place to eat.

Fantastic stop on our way out to Pittsburgh basketball game for lunch. Quaint, clean, easy parking and delicious food. Also, the nicest darn waitress with the most caring and attentive service - we love Jesse! Will be back next year!
