we went to the Shebeen after a show at the theatre on Sunday 12/22. our initial experience was not great -we had major problems with our server who started out with us not taking a drink order and things being ordered incorrectly, and an all around bad attitude. After asking to speak to a manager, Demi came to our table, spoke to us and switched our server for the evening. I really enjoy going to the townhouse for the ambience and the food, great place to sit and have a drink or a bite to eat. I had the crabcake sandwich and it was full of crab meat. I would recommend that to anyone who loves crabcakes.
The sound level is overwhelming upon entering. The tables are very close together. The music is playing. The place is packed. The result is a cacophony. The menu did not match their online menu, so I had to reconsider my selections.
