MORELIANOS Reviews
Authentic Mexican food, and great addition to Mercer. Everything we have had, has been delicious. Make me feel like I'm back in the Southwest. Staff is friendly and service is quick.
This place is AMAZING !!!
Food, service. Everything. I’ve never left here hungry or mad.
NOT RECOMMEND !!! 3 of us ordered quesadillas. There was so much liquid on the plates that the shells were waterlogged. The rice was cold so waiter took the plate of beans and rice saying he would get hot rice. A few minutes later he brought back same plate with the beans and rice microwaved. Now beans are crunchy and the rice is dry and hard. All of this while fighting off some kind of little flies buzzing around the restaurant. We definitely will not be back. Absolutely Disgusting...read full review

Morelianos in Mercer is a small, family-owned and run Mexican restaurant known for its authentic and delicious food. The restaurant uses family recipes and fresh ingredients, resulting in meals that are often amazing. The menu features a variety of options, such as fajita burritos, tamales, and brunch burritos, all of which receive high praise from customers. Many visitors feel that the food makes them feel like they are back in Mexico, highlighting its authentic taste and charming atmosphere.
The staff at Morelianos are pleasant and helpful, providing assistance in choosing meals and managing a high volume of customers with ease. Although the restaurant can get quite busy, with wait times of 20-35 minutes, customers are generally willing to wait because of the wonderful food and excellent customer service. The guacamole, salsa, and chips are highly recommended, along with the corn tortillas that accompany many meals. These tortillas have a cornbread-like scent and taste, as if they were freshly made and the corn milled in-house.
Recent experiences have shown mixed reviews. While some customers have enjoyed the rice bowl and described the food as a great addition to downtown Greenville, others have faced issues, such as quesadillas with too much liquid and cold rice. However, the overall consensus is that Morelianos offers great food, genuine prices, and a clean environment. Free Margaritas on Fridays and Saturdays add to the appeal, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for quick and yummy food. Whether passing through Mercer or searching for a local spot, Morelianos is worth a visit for its flavorful dishes and friendly atmosphere.
