I visited for lunch on May 17 with a friend. It was my first visit but it will definitely not be my last. The menu had everything I could imagine in Mexican food. The decor was beautiful and the place was clean. I had my favorite - enchiladas with rice and they were wonderful. The food was so authentic, not like a fast food version of Mexican food. Very nicely decorated. Wood floors were lovely. Brick and stone walls gave the feeling of being outside in Mexico. Very open and spacious dining room. Tables arranged in center with booths around the edges. Food was like it was homemade in Mexico very tasty enchilada sauce. I asked for hot sauce, waitress offered bottled or kitchen. I've been to this restaurant many times and its always been great -- my favorite restaurant in Greencastle. The Pollo Loco is so good that its hard for me to try other things on the menu. Lots of fresh vegetables and always cooked and seasoned to perfection! The other dishes I've tried have been very good as well. Staff has always been friendly and efficient and I felt comfortable with their COVID precautions; chips and salsa are great.
