Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the prime rib. 10/10. Took a little longer then I wanted to get refills. But over all was a great experience.

We had to wait 15 minutes before a waitress showed up and that miraculously happened only after asking the hostess to find her. There was no bartender working so drinks took a long time. They were short staffed. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable but had too many tables to be efficient. Two of us got burgers and they were both overcooked. It was entirely too warm in the restaurant. If there was more competition in the area this place would shut down. I cant call the management incompetent because I don't think it exists.

Had the Reuben Perogies. I live over an hour away and we only stopped here because we happened to be there around lunch time. I think I would drive that hour to get the progress again!

Great food and atmosphere
The truth is, I hope you don't read this review and I hope you don't decide to come here. This place is the best kept secret around and I would rather you don't know about it but if you are like me and you read reviews and if you are looking for a place to eat where the food is actually made by the CHEF and not just popped out of a freezer, toaster, microwave or whatever, then you have to try this place. I can't believe I didn't know about this place. My wife and I have been spending many years trying restaurants, asking them if the food is made in house or served. Very seldom can we find any food that is actually made in house. The Caesar and Greek salad dressings are made in house. The soups do not come out of a bag. The CHEF actually makes the soups. The Angus burger - made in house. The french fries - made in house. I've only been there once but maybe all the food is made in house. I despise the ultra processed junk that many restaurants serve. Their prices are the same that you would pay at other restaurants but you get real food. There are many cooks but few CHEFS. shhhhhh. Don't tell anyone. Keep it a secret.

The atmosphere was great, but the service was slow, and there were only a couple of other guests. The burgers were overly charred.

Typical bar food, they were short on staff. Took over an hour and a half for lunch. Convenient, but better food can be found

We stopped for lunch and the food was simple and very good. The prime rib panini and the crème brûlée are highly recommended.
We stopped here on a road trip because it was cute and local and had good reviews. I regret spending my money here. It was not good. The ONLY thing that was halfway decent was the prime rib panini. We had a crab cake dinner that was so bland. The kids steak was so tough and tasted burnt. Definitely wouldn’t go back.
Stopped traveling thru town. The special was salmon with blue crab. It was amazing. Atmosphere is great.. loved it. Highly recommend.
