One North Coffee & Bake Shop

Great coffee shop with excellent food and drinks. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the customers, honestly.

During the school year, students from the academy completely take over the place. It almost feels more like an academy coffee shop than a Mercersburg one, as the students occupy all the seats and treat it like their personal living room. Even the teachers and faculty do this, talking loudly and constantly about school assignments and classes. The workers are sometimes academy students themselves, so it is not uncommon for the baristas to chat with their classmates while working.

In the summer, it is a different crowd but still chaotic. Parents often let their small children run around unchecked, turning the shop into a playground. I wish the staff would step in more during both of these situations, whether it is the academy crowd monopolizing the space or the little kids running rampant.

First time visiting, and found the space really comfortable and welcoming. I got an ice coffee and turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich. Coffee hit the spot and the sandwich was excellent. The bread was perfectly toasted, it had nice avocado slices and there was a spread on it that gave the sandwich a nice extra level of flavor. The prices were also very reasonable.

Sandwiches and strawberry bun were great, and the lattes were even better. Plenty of comfortable seating, and the staff were extraordinarily helpful in tracking down a song that I hadn’t asked the title of until it ended. Would come back in a heartbeat!

I LOVE this place! The food is amazing and they offer amazing gluten free things as well as dessert! It's so homey inside, and the staff is so nice and patient, I love it all 🥰

This is by far the best coffee place I have ever been to. Their coffee is fantastic, and the food is even better. They are also some of the most friendly people I’ve ever met. 10/10 recommend.

GREAT little coffee shop nestled in the heart of the quaint little town of beautiful Mercersburg! I ordered a latte, which was smooth & roasty, along with a bagel with lox & avocado & it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! And they certainly did not skimp on the ingredients! Great atmosphere & decor...very cozy & comfy. I highly recommend visiting this place, which is a short drive to/from Whitetail Ski resort!

Cozy little coffee shop, great for studying or a date. And the coffee is aight too😉

I have never seen service move so slowly. We ordered two drip coffees and a quiche. We never got the quiche because after waiting for 15 minutes, we had to leave.

What a great little spot! We had a wonderful experience here this morning. The coffee, food, and service were outstanding. They were also super sweet and accommodating to our three year old. Don’t skip out on the cinnamon rolls!

Great original latte flavors and the sandwiches are as well. My sons treated me to this shop on Mother’s Day. It was a wonderful place!! I will be back.
