They have really good fries but I have never walked away from Hymies feeling especially happy. I've either left feeling meh or livid due to the service and food. It's too bad because it's cute. I grew up going to Lou and Hi's in Ohio and I so much want Hymies to be that but it is decidedly not. Go somewhere else.
The food is always the star of the show. Soup, Bagels, sandwiches are amazing
Today the customer service outshined the food, if that's possible.its good to know places like this still exist.
Food and services was excellent love the pickle bar.
Hankering for a pastrami Reuben on Memorial Day and went to Hymie's hoping for authentic pastrami. Excellent sandwich with pile of great pastrami and other ingredients properly proportioned.Faat and friendly service. Little pricey but equivalent to other inferior sandwiches.
Great diner/deli! Serving all the classics you’d expect. Includes a great pickle bar! Came here for brunch, we will be back for more!
The one weird thing I saw was staff pick up a pickle off the floor and return it to the pickle bar?? I couldn’t believe my eyes, and am still uncertain if that was fully the case, but uhhh, just be careful with the pickle bar
I know this is a historic Restaurant food is great. There is always a weight in the parking is the worst. Go for the food and overlook the rest
When I went there I did mot know that President trump had eaten there
I thought a Jewish deli would be against him eating here.

Overpriced and mediocre. It used to be better but I don't recommend it now.
Understaffed, unorganized so many orders come out wrong, tables to close to each other. Its not an enjoyable experience anymore.

Restaurant was dirty. Food was mediocre at best.
This was our first time there. What a pleasure. The food was delicious and they give you a lot. We will definitely go back there. Very friendly people too.
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread and bagels.

Very mediocre. Maybe this is the only option for Jewish delis around here, but I spend a lot of time in NYC, and this place doesn’t measure up. I found the corned beef to be quite dry and the desserts are low quality.

You can avoid. Can’t find parking. And then, seating area was dirty. Food was just barely okay.
Too many other deli’s nearby that are better.
Clearly trading on its long passed glory.
