One of my favorite markers around!! Great personal service from Gary and his family run store! Baked goods are 2nd to none! Their double stuff Whoopee Pies are my personal favorite!! Great BBQ on Saturday's throughout summer!
Some great specialty items and local foods, and food prices. Produce was very disappointing. I realize that I went out of season, but some of the things on offer should not even have been for sale. What I did get (block cheddar, sausage, spices) was good, but I rejected quite a few things on close inspection. Caveat emptor.
I want to start with the positive, very nice selection of many different things, however, ALL the staff was EXTRAORDINARILY RUDE! It started with the cashier inside the store. Me and my husband were paying for our purchase and the cashier would not stop glaring at me. It was very strangely uncomfortable. She actually had a hard time focusing on ringing out the purchases and bagging it because of the scary glaring. We dismissed this as just something we would forget and forgive...
