We stopped here due to a snow storm. The room was cold soaked (no heat was on until we arrived). Actually that was true of most of the hotel. This is a re-badged Red Roof that has seen much better days: tired hallways, some trash in the halls, empty vending machines. Some of the ceiling plaster had fallen down in our room. Since there was only one person on duty (covering front desk, bar, and apparently also in charge of cleaning the rooms) we didn't ask for a different room.

I just recently QUIT here after years of working for the OWNER who claims he is only the dirt bag GM. and before u book please be aware!! Please READ ALL print before you sign.. You are Signing that you are aware of NO HOT WATER, any EXTRA FEES that the hotel(owner) deems fit. There is mold all through the hotel including walls. Roof is leaking and collapsing. IT IS held together by straps on top the roof outside so no one sees. The sewage backs up all the time and runs into the floors and carpets and NOTHING is EVER fixed correctly just rigged to work for a moment. The laundry is done without hot enough or any hot water at all and packed in a residential washer and dryer.plus the owner has us use 1oz of detergent using a shot glass from the dingy bar to measure the 1oz per load!!I tried to clean and maintain the hotel the best I could as one person but never is good enough for him.He refuses to buy anything cause he's broke and doesn't even pay his business's bills or pay employees.BE

A friend and I were in town to watch the OSU and Penn state game over the weekend and stayed at the Estya hotel. The staff was great, very friendly, and extremely accommodating. Their pup Simba, was a good boy and had a ton of personality. The rooms were clean and the location was ~20 minutes from the stadium. The hotel is on the older side but the owners are dedicated to making your stay a great one. I would stay there again.

I stayed here for a night during my drive towards OH. The Manager was kind and courteous. The room was clean, good looking. A/C is working perfect. No complaints. Will choose to stay again if the price is good. Good experience. Kuriakose Poulose

The manager complained guests comment online when not happy but not when they are happy... So here I am. very nice, clean place with a nice lounge. Bartender makes the best long island ice-tea. I will stay here again for best night of sleep and Long Island Ice-Tea. :)

You want an absolutely miserable experience? Feel free to stay at the Estya. The general manager will lie to your face about the experience and then he’ll try to screw you out of your money. I wouldn’t stay at this place even if it were $5/night. I paid $900 to stay here and the general manager would not change my reservation to a later date even though they had availability. Just horrible to their customers, $900 down the drain. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Unsafe and very dirty!! The hotel is falling apart and should be torn down. They make you sign a waiver saying you won’t sue if you get sick. I promise you will leave with a skin infection of some sort. They trick you into paying upfront and then you get a crummy, horrible hotel! We would have rather slept in our car and almost did that! Drug den for sure !!

This place was a construction zone. There were tools and screws/nails all around the front loading/unloading zone. I stayed here at tail end of my cross country drive because I has tired and had just learned my boyfriend was killed in a car accident and just needed a beer, sleep and a shower. I had my dog with me. I let her sniff around while I looked for some stuff in the car and she wondered off. I went round back to look for her and there was a graveyard of above ground oil tanks and lots of debris. I found her before she got into any trouble, but this place wouldn't be safe for kids to play. I never got my beer:(, but they did give me a glass a wine. They were having a staff potluck when I arrived. The sheets were nice, but sadly the shower was lukewarm at best. Luckily when I left the next morning I had all of my stuff with me (I usually make two trips) because the door locked behind me and no one was working in the front desk.

Do you like cold showers? Do you travel with Lysol? If you don’t have standards - this is the place for you! I went in will very low expectations and was not disappointed. Started with arriving and no one to check in the guests. When the first group called they were told that someone would be right there. That was 20 minutes before I arrived. They tried to call again and no one answered. I called and someone came out. The guy was overly chatty and it took him 15 minutes per room to get people checked in. He charged everyone $5 to get their room since the online services do not charge it. That’s BS - he just wanted his fees back. While waiting a small dog, not on a leash came out and urinated on the floor. It was the owners dog! It was eventually cleaned up 30 minutes later! The lobby floor is sticky. The room - well - the whole place smells old and musty. Not just the lobby. The main light did not work. The air conditioner unit - very sketchy. You sign a paper saying that you understand that if you want to shower - only use hot water. Well - it NEVER got hot. Or even warm. The beds - old. There is no bar open and no breakfast. Even if there was a working pool - I would worry about getting a disease. The owner encouraged you to use the gambling machines they have. It used to be a Red Roof Inn. Sign is still there and he is still using the paperwork from Red Roof Inn.

The service is horrible. After checking in early and not issued a key, we returned to find many people waiting to check in. Shame on them for a cancellation policy that does not meet the needs of their customers.

Worst place ever stayed at the hotel for a week with no hot water no heat and half the rooms electric was out manager or owner would not move us to different room would not fix hot water thank god for the front desk lady she was wonderful and the mantince was doing there best to help with what they had to work with hallways where a chilly 54 degrees pool was down no bag breakfast feel bad for anyone that has to work in such a dumpster of a place Red Roof Inn Corp should really take a look at this one..................???????
