Lupitas Authentic Mexican Foods

Great place to grab a bite to eat. I'm from out of town, and come to the State College area 1-2 times a year for the great trout fishing the area has to offer. One of my favorite fishing holes is just a block down from this restaurant. So its nice to grab a couple of delicious tacos after putting in a days worth of fishing.The restaurant itself is clean and well kept. The patio is real nice, and the food is real good. Great place to relax and grab a bite to eat.The only downside is the lack of a very noticeable sign from the road. I've driven past this place a dozen times and it was only when I googled restaurants in the vicinity did I find out this building was actually a Mexican restaurant. I know now!

I wish I could give them no stars ...Walk in place and young lady wasn't so pleasant and look upset to see customers in a empty place ...You have to order your food a counter before you sit down ...So this takes time and it looked like she wasn't happy to answer any questions about food and menu....Wife caught her rolling her eyes at us and we left...Owner really needs different help that enjoy people very disappointed

Honestly I debated leaving a review or not, I’ve never left a bad review at a restaurant, and don’t think I’ve even left a bad review in general.I’m from Texas so maybe I have higher expectations when it comes to Mexican restaurants, but from the service, the atmosphere to especially the food, I was completely disappointed.I don’t even know if the steak tacos were even really steak, I’ve never seen anything like that, I hope they just fix their food and their service and things go well, I don’t want anyone to go out of service, but same time I also want to warn others, at least out-of-towners to be cautious. Same time I believe it had good reviews so maybe I just went the wrong day.

Really love this place and it's become our go-to on nights we are too tired to cook. Great prices and food. Staff is always patient and never rushes you to order. Smaller menu but has everything you would want. We are fans of the tacos (any kind), tostadas and tomales. Would recommend!

Service is excellent. Employee, Melvin, went above and beyond and always with a smile.The food is out of this world. True authentic Mexican food.

We got Tacos and they were very greasy. The plat the Tacos were on were even greasy.

I was traveling from Vermont back to Kentucky w hen we decided to take the exit off the interstate to fuel up. Having not had lunch we searched for a Mexican restaurant when this one popped up. It hasn’t had any reviews hardly yet but decided to give it a try. We had just had the worst Mexican food we had in Stowe Vermont so we were hoping for a good meal. This was one of the best taco/authentic Mexican restaurants I have ever been to, and I eat a lot of Mexican cuisine. Having lived in San Diego and Southern Arizona, I can attest to this. We got the tacos and the flavor was amazing! Nice fresh hot chips, tortillas were fresh and it was a very clean restaurant and super friendly staff. Be sure to visit this restaurant if traveling through Pennsylvania.

Great food at really good prices. I was surprised at how much food you get. I probably will order half of the food I just got when I go back. It was delicious. There is lots of nice outdoor seating and a few indoor tables. I think it'll feel cramped inside when the weather turns cold. But the food was great! Would highly recommend.

I'm not a Mexican food person by any means ,but I like this place they have some good tacos and nachos

I had Lupitas cater my rehearsal dinner and it was a complete hit! I will definitely recommend them. The food was amazing!!! 10/10 recommend, such a great addition to milesburg!

Amazing, traditional Mexican food with a great outside dining area. The menu isn't huge, but there are a number of variations you can get with every item, so you can customize your meal quite a bit. Plus, they offer vegetarian options for just about everything they have. Don't forget to use their condiment bar for a number of really good (and hot!) toppings for your meal.

Absolutely fantastic. Solid food. I have lived in Nevada and New York City, this is great Mexican. Check out the original location in State College (you know its good when its in a gas station)

Fast service. Nicely done outdoor dining area. Something different for the area. A different taste than other Mexican fare restaurants I've visited. Friendly service. No complaints. Great to have choices.
