After moving in and trying some of the local spots, Bar Louis has quickly become one of our favorites in the area! We never leave unsatisfied - great food, great drinks, great ambiance, and of course great people!
Bar Louis is located downstairs and has a warm, cozy atmosphere. When we visited in January, the restaurant was decorated with a fun skiing theme that added to the charm. The cocktails were diverse and well made, and as a pleasant surprise, the staff brought out a plate of deviled eggs before our appetizers, perfectly seasoned and a unique touch that set the tone for the meal. Overall, it was a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.
The prix fixe holiday menu was incredible. The food was great. Three of us all got different things. The lobster bisque and baby kale salads were amazing. The gnocchi was superb, if perhaps a bit too much oil, and the scallops were devoured without even sharing one bite with the other diners! The branzino was delicious, with a light and flavorful grapefruit beurre blanc. The duck was cooked perfectly and tasted great, and the rib eye (they were out of prime rib) was gorgeous and...
