The brown’s hill tavern and motel

Had a poor tale out experience today. Got a fish dinner to go but got the wrong sides with part of the order missing. Just wasn't the best. Have usually been happy with the food.

Food was extremely greasy. Fries were inedible. Did not enjoy at all. Save yourself time and money eat elsewhere.

They obviously have not hired a real cook. I'll say the food was edible and the rooms (vintage 70's) were clean but crude.

My sisters and I randomly chose Browns Hill Tavern to have lunch on our road trip. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Pros: right off the highway, water was hot.

Cons: non smoking room smelled like smoke, towels were tiny, bed sheets were incredibly itchy, room was noisy between outside noise, the fridge compressor, and the auto dispensing fragrance thing. Black mold in fridge and freezer.

For reference we checked in at 3 and I couldn't sleep after a 7 hour drive and being up all day.

Absolutely awful experience, I'd go somewhere else or sleep in the car.

This place was highly recommended from the hotel I was staying at. I wasn't impressed with it. The fries were way over done and extremely salty as was the crab cake.

We had Stormy as our server and she was professional friendly and made sure everything was perfect. You are lucky to have such a great employee

We were staying nearby and decided to stop here for dinner. The atmosphere was great. Very relaxing. The food was amazing. I got the tips and they were cooked perfectly. The onion rings are out of this world. The service was great. We had the best server! (she even said it was her first time working for her brother) She was excellent.

This is a very nice family-friendly restaurant that also has a bar and some really good food. I had the Delmonico and it was amazing

Went there to eat with family. We were told there would be a ten minute wait. There were 5 empty tables when we got there. After 20 minutes and others coming in the door and being seated there were still 2 empty tables. At 32 minutes I was told we would be next to be seated. Another couple walked in and was seated. Still an empty table. Ignored for 5 more minutes and we left.
Will never go back.
