I have been a frequent customer of Curt’s and continued to support the business even after previously finding plastic in my ribs (without being offered a refund at the time). Despite that experience, we kept returning because we truly enjoyed the food.
Unfortunately, our most recent visit on 8/20 may be the last. When ordering, I requested a boneless rib platter with mac and cheese, along with fries and smoked cheese sauce. While the cheese sauce was not to my taste, the bigger issue was the interaction at the register. The individual who took my order gave me an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude, including glaring looks that made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. My boyfriend even had to clarify what I was saying, despite the fact that I was communicating clearly.
As a loyal customer, I did not expect to be treated in such a dismissive manner. Respect and courtesy should be part of the customer experience, especially from a business that has had our continued support through past mistakes. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will likely not be returning.
I have no doubt in my mind it was the son of the owner who spoke to me this way. I really didn’t appreciate the snarky looks and attitude because you don’t understand the English language, obviously.

How there is not a line out the door is beyond me. Let's be honest; it's a challenge to find good BBQ in central-PA. The meat on the ribs is fall off the bone tender. The brisket has just the right level of marbling. Smoked, but not over done, savory, but not too greasy, crisp but not dried out, this food is fantastic and is more along the lines of what you would find on the foodie scene in Austin, Texas than up north.

Food is always scrumptious but I can honestly say in years of consistent visits to this store, I had the best Customer Service I have ever had! The gals Raine & Becca helped me with educated menu choices and had great attitudes and efficiency. Trey made a fabulous Greek Salad that my neighbors could not believe came from a BBQ Joint !! I asked the staff for their names I just HAD to give a grand review! What a Gem of a staff and they even told me to come back and try the new Salmon dish on the menu well I will be back soon to try and a handful of neighbors are going today just for that Greek Salad and the new seafood dishes! I am impressed

Been going to Curts Ribs when we visit the area for 10 years. It used to be cleaner and better. The inside is in desperate need of new fixtures or at least a deep clean. Don't look at the ceiling vents....disgusting. As for the food The pulled pork is now so greasy that a pound order leaves you with half grease and half meat. The Mac and cheese used to be great and cheesy now it's gritty and soupy. The ribs, chicken, baked beans, and slaw are still outstanding. I am torn on if we will be back. The nostalgia is high but Curts Ribs needs restaurant rescue.
