Staff are super friendly. I thought about taking off a star because there aren't a lot of gluten free options, but the prices are decent and my family has been going here forever. Just know that it's not an abundant amount of options if you're like me and have celiac disease. The atmosphere was comfortable and not overly loud like some places can be. Great salad! I wouldn't often call any salad "great" but this was truly top tier.

Food service and atmosphere are excellent. The beer is the best I’ve had at a brew pub. My only complaint (and it’s a mild one) if that the hours are a little irregular.

This is a little gem in the heart of PA. Fresh local food, local artwork, and craft beers make this a great place to relax and enjoy some time with friends. They always have a lineup of good bands that aren't your standard cover bands. The service is good and welcoming. If you're in the area it's worth a stop. Because the food is local and fresh. The menu isn't huge. But you'll find something to enjoy.

Great food and by far some of the best local brewed beers around.

First time here in several years, and we were very disappointed. I'm not sure if they have a new owner or chef but the steaks were over cooked and had no flavor, food was cold, and just not what we expected. The service was fine, and the style of the restaurant has a cool feeling to it but the food was inedible. Didn't try the beer this time so I can't comment on that, maybe that's good. Otherwise not worth the money.

Good place and probably 4 stars for the beer and service. The food was 3 stars but that is because it was decent but over done by the fact that each meal was a heaping pile of French fries with some "meal" added. I'm sure the apps, soups, and meals that don't come with fries could have potential. Prices were not inexpensive either especially for a place that sells beer vs byob but that is not unusual as places try to define the new price point.

We've been going to Elk Creek for years. The beer is reliably excellent - never had a bad one - and the food under Chef Cutty is delicious, innovative, and largely locally sourced. The live music program is ridiculously good, from local artists to regional names on their way up. Not exaggerating; we moved to this town because of Elk Creek Café.Vegetarian options: Almost always several vegetarian options.Parking: We usually find street parking, but there are also two free off-street lots nearby.

Truly delighted to find such a fantastic brewpub in a small town! Elk Creek showcases cozy environment, friendly service, outstanding food and most impressively, excellent local bands. We went on a Thursday around 6:30 to see a performance. The place was about 80% full with front row tables still available. We ordered a salad, roasted shishito peppers, and fish & chips. Everything was delicious and made of fresh and high quality ingredients. There’s no cover but do bring cash to tip the band. The concert was fantastic. Seeing the crew perform with such passion just made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Will definitely come back again and again!

Have dined here a couple of times and the food is always consistently amazing. But my one gripe is that if you happen to be there and a band is going to perform, you have to pay to stay there while the band is performing. Would make more sense if you only had to pay if you were coming in after the band had already started playing.

Our salad was heavenly along with delicious chicken in the stick. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm along with quiet music in background. Worth your visit.

Beer is average at best. Food selection isn't great. Prices are high considering what you get.
