“Hands down the best restaurant near State College. We moved to the area from the PNW in 2024, and we have had such a hard time finding restaurants that are delicious, and cozy. The farmers markets in the area are incredible and the folks at Elk Creek are closely connected to their producers, and their chefs do the wonderful local ingredients justice - which cannot be said for other restaurants in the region that preach their farm to table connection. Every meal we have had here has been spot on, perfectly seasoned, and such fresh bright vegetables and delicious meat and seafood. This place is truly a gem, so thankful to have them in the area.”

“We really enjoy the food at the Valley Wok! Food is hot, perfectly prepared, and generous portions. Lunch menu (11 AM to 3 PM) is very reasonable and good portions, includes soup or egg roll. You can request hot tea. I love the fried noodles and duck sauce appetizer while you wait for your meal which arrives quite quickly. Everything I have tried is very good.”

“Loved my visit to Hublersburg Inn! That burger bun alone was incredible—probably the best I’ve had anywhere. Add all the fresh toppings, and you’ve got a burger done right. Honestly, it gives me confidence that everything on the menu is amazing. I’m already excited to try the fish and chips, cheesesteaks, and the Reuben next time. The service was great—friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal enjoyable—and the atmosphere is comfortable and casual, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. “Wow! Great little restaurant!! We stopped on our way through. If you’re planning to stop along 80, we highly recommend stopping here. The food was made to order, with real ingredients, super fast and so delicious. The desert menu is amazing and the desserts were just as amazing! There is a nice grassy area to walk the dogs.”

Usually in subway they rush while making. Here the making the sandwiches proper way. Pilot is renovating where i visited but very cleaned store. Full stars from my side to this Subway.”

“Food was good. Ketchup was out, but managers were helpfully providing packets. Root beer was out of syrup. The fries were ideal! There was a curious romantic-era portrait in the corner which sparked our intrigue. It left us confused. Bathroom was very clean”
