“Lots of wing flavors and they came out hot and crispy! Between my husband, Dad and I, we had 4 different flavors: Cajun wet, hot garlic, honey badger, and jackal. They were all good! Decent beer selection. We sat outside under the tent which has three TVs. French onion soup, pesto flatbread, kids pizza, kids chicken fingers and salads were all good as well.“

“My initial review was a perfect 5 stars but here’s the thing… these bowls are kinda samey and get old after a few times. Chipotle, on the other hand, is delicious and has been delicious since like 2011 when I first went to one in LA.

Chipotle bowls are way more delicious, imo, though they’re not as big or filling. Roots gives you more per dollar. If I can choose the best made bowl at either place, I would choose Chipotle every time. Roots is healthier, though.“

“I am leaving Pittsburgh so I feel like I am obligated to leave review for this restaurant, which saved myself during my time in Pittsburgh. As Korean, I still believe this restaurant would be very popular if it were in Korea. Their chicken is sooo crispy even with sauces. The portion is amazing too. I never had any issue with the food. My one advice is get a rice bowl if you can and have it together with soy garlic/sweet spicy chicken.“

I’m glad we went in, the staff were incredibly nice, very informative, and brought an amazing atmosphere even at 3 am, they were truly amazing. A beacon of light in the dark of night for certain. We got 4 different ones to get a well rounded view of this place and honestly words could not describe how great the calzones were, and the prices were great too! The staff is always friendly. The one little lady who works there is always so bubbly. “Mario’s offers great value deals - we got 12 mild wings and large cheese pizza for $25. They deliver locally for only $2 charge! Delivery was also very quick. The mild sauce for the wings was thin and buttery. The pizza had a nice soft crust, taste almost reminds me of Fox’s pizza.“
