We were in town to attend a show at the theater, and got there early. Went into the Cafe and had a nice drink (mine was a great White Russian with strong Cold Brew, his was a beer) and I wanted a water. This is where we discovered Liquid Death, and that sparked a great conversation with the very friendly barista (or bartender?) and we discussed not only the funniest can of water I've ever seen, but the local scene and Mr. Smalls' itself. On a scale of documentaries to romance novels, Mr Smalls Cafe is a book of poetry.My partner and I attended an evening concert at Mr Smalls, and we became overstimulated by the music and crowd. We saw signs directing to the cafe so we went down to the basement and discovered a quiet oasis where we could enjoy drinks, conversation, and a recharge. Delish!!!!!!!! Grilled chicken sandwich smelled like the grill and tasted like it too !!Hubby got a delish double cheeseburger and even shared a bite. So good. If only we lived closer !!
