I've been eating at Palermos for over 20 years. The food is consistently good, and the service is always great. It's a busy place because its very popular in the area. I will always come back.
Palermo's is convenient. It's hard to make a bad pizza but it takes some effort to make a really good and unique pizza. There's a place in girardville called centios they make a unique delicious pie. Unfortunately Palermo's, an Italian restaurant uses canned sauce. I don't know if they make there own dough. But at the counter u can see them make the pies and they open a big can of sauce and poor it into a container and they use that for the sauce on their pie. So yes anyone can put together a pizza. Buy a can of sauce, a bag of cheese, and a pizza dough, put them all together. But if you're an Italian restaurant I expect something better. Don't get me wrong the pizza is acceptable. But it would be nice to have a really good pizza. I wish girardville was closer to me cuz I'd get a centios pie every week. From what I understand you have to order a day in advance. But this review is about Palermo's. Well, the atmosphere is nice, the food that is supposed to be hot is hot, but there's nothing special about the food. It's ho-hum pizza and I think that they could do much better. But it's almost always crowded so I must be in the minority on this oneParking: It's a strip mall so there's a large parking lot with drive thru traffic in front of the establishments. There is handicapped parking in the lot but you have to cross the thru traffic to get to the building. The parking is on level ground which really niceWheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately the doors do not open automatically. I really don't think that a person by themselves in a wheelchair would be able to get in easily.

The only thing better than the fantastic service at Palermo's is the food. The lobster bisque & lobster ravioli are absolutely DIVINE. Bartenders Marshall & Patty are absolute rockstars & truly make you feel like a longtime friend. The chef(s) responsible for my food deserve a forehead kiss.Whether you want to treat yourself to a nice dinner like I did or have a get-together with loved ones over fabulous food & drink, Palermo's is the perfect option, every time. I'm currently trying to talk my spouse into patronizing this fantastic establishment with me soon.

I’m from out of town for work - all I wanted was a hot meal and I received my food super late, cold, meat burnt, bread was hard - nothing I ordered at all, missing all the veggies I wanted on my food - like they threw some random ish together and sold it. Eff this place. I’d rather die.
