The Little Brown Barrel

We had a great experience at the Little Brown Barrel! The food was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The Ale Battered Fish and Chips were a standout. The cod was perfectly crispy and clearly battered to order. The pickled onions on top added a unique zing, and the Old Bay fries were the perfect match. The housemade dill tartar sauce was fresh and flavorful, complementing the dish without overpowering it. We also tried the Smoked Wings with Creamy Buffalo Sauce. They were smoky, tender, and had just the right amount of heat, a great twist on a classic favorite. A special mention goes to the appetizer: Brussels sprouts made just for us. They were made to perfection and packed with flavor, a great surprise and a nice touch by the kitchen. Overall, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow! Just had one of the best dining experiences of my life at Little Brown Barrel! Seriously, you have to go. The food was fantastic, the beer selection awesome, and their bourbon options are amazing. But what truly made it unforgettable was the wonderful staff. Shout out to our server, Charlie, who was an absolute delight, and the chef/owner, who was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I'm already planning my next visit – highly, highly recommend!

We are never disappointed with their menu choices. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the drinks are enjoyable.

We stopped there for the first time tonight, and were quite disappointed that we had not stop here before. The food is amazing, drinks were great, the staff were all very polite, professional and made us feel very welcomed. The desert that we had tasted as if it was freshly made. We will definitely make a trip back to this little jem!!

Was there tonight because my daughter had a basketball tournament in Minersville. We were looking for a place to eat between games and found this little gem! We had such a delicious meal! Huge beer selection and menu was fantastic! The crab dip bread bowl was very delicious! My husband and father in law raved about their Elk burgers. My daughter loved the chicken, bacon, ranch mac and cheese and my mother in law had everything good to say about her chicken panini! Would definitely recommend and hope to eat here again!

Definitely a hidden gem. Great wait staff , friendly service and they took my niece's deadly food allergy very seriously and checked with chef multiple times and made us feel welcome.

I have been to this restaurant several times. Always enjoy the food and service is good. My issue was with the dog. I love dogs and actually didn’t mind that it was there (although probably a health code violation). My issue was that as we were eating the staff were “yelling” at the dog to go outside. I went to relax and enjoy myself. If I wanted to hear people making a commotion about the dog going outside to use the bathroom I would have made dinner at home.

REALLY great food, awesome draft selection. I’ve had several good experiences here but my most recent one, the AM bartender/server Lisa rushed us out over half an hour before her shift ended. Coming from a former server and bartender, there are much nicer ways to rush customers. Especially when your shift replacement isn’t even in yet. 😬

Just moved to the area and went here for the first time! Food was amazing! Staff is very friendly and was very cozy. Will definitely be back again.

Took forever during off peak time. Monday 3 pm. Felt sorry for the bartender/waitress as she was abandoned by owner who left to play pool. She also had to watch his puppy. Food was mid. Very over-rated spot in an area with few choices.
