The Little Brown Barrel

We stopped there for the first time tonight, and were quite disappointed that we had not stop here before. The food is amazing, drinks were great, the staff were all very polite, professional and made us feel very welcomed. The desert that we had tasted as if it was freshly made. We will definitely make a trip back to this little jem!!

Was there tonight because my daughter had a basketball tournament in Minersville. We were looking for a place to eat between games and found this little gem! We had such a delicious meal! Huge beer selection and menu was fantastic! The crab dip bread bowl was very delicious! My husband and father in law raved about their Elk burgers. My daughter loved the chicken, bacon, ranch mac and cheese and my mother in law had everything good to say about her chicken panini! Would definitely recommend and hope to eat here again!

Food always very good. Hamburgers soon very good. Everything I had was delightful!

Definitely a hidden gem. Great wait staff , friendly service and they took my niece's deadly food allergy very seriously and checked with chef multiple times and made us feel welcome.

I have been to this restaurant several times. Always enjoy the food and service is good. My issue was with the dog. I love dogs and actually didn’t mind that it was there (although probably a health code violation). My issue was that as we were eating the staff were “yelling” at the dog to go outside. I went to relax and enjoy myself. If I wanted to hear people making a commotion about the dog going outside to use the bathroom I would have made dinner at home.

REALLY great food, awesome draft selection. I’ve had several good experiences here but my most recent one, the AM bartender/server Lisa rushed us out over half an hour before her shift ended. Coming from a former server and bartender, there are much nicer ways to rush customers. Especially when your shift replacement isn’t even in yet. 😬

Just moved to the area and went here for the first time! Food was amazing! Staff is very friendly and was very cozy. Will definitely be back again.

We spent the afternoon having cocktails and appetizers while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive and then finished with dinner. Next level food for a smaller pub style eatery. Highly recommended!!

Took forever during off peak time. Monday 3 pm. Felt sorry for the bartender/waitress as she was abandoned by owner who left to play pool. She also had to watch his puppy. Food was mid. Very over-rated spot in an area with few choices.

The Little Brown Barrel was OUTSTANDING! Both food and drinks were awesome! Appetizers crab dip bowl and pierogi were excellent! Entrees Cajun tortellini and Slider flight also super! Bartender/server was totally professional! I was floored when she asked during appetizers if we were ready for entrees or hold. Mixed drinks - perfect! Service and food - perfect! A real Skook gem! Thank you!

My 3rd time here. Each time as good as the 1st ! Owner is down to earth, friendly and really personable...bartender was helpful & sweet! Food was spot on! Butternut squash soup was the best around! French dip was sooo tasty on the cibatta! Just one of those sandwiches I'll crave...will be back! Highly recommend this place👍👍
