We visited this local restaurant last night and were absolutely blown away! Even though they were understaffed due to two call-outs, the incredible gentleman who took care of us went above and beyond—he handled everything: host, waiter, bartender, cook, AND busser. And let me tell you—he did it all with kindness, efficiency, and a smile.
🍹 Drinks: Our drinks were delicious and well-made. I enjoyed a refreshing Orange Crush, and my mother-in-law loved her Apple Martini—perfectly mixed and flavorful!
🍽️ Appetizers:
Crabby Fries – Tasty and satisfying.
Bang Bang Strip – Hands down our favorite starter! Perfectly seasoned with just the right kick.
🍗 Wings (Wing Night!): My daughter and I each ordered boneless wings. She had Lemon Pepper, and I had Garlic Parmesan. They were outstanding! The batter was crispy and flavorful, the wings were fresh, and the portions were generous.
🥗 Southwest Chicken Salad: My mother-in-law ordered this, and it was impressive—very large portion, easily shareable. The chicken was moist, full of flavor, and the dressing tied it all together perfectly.
🥪 Cheesesteak Sandwiches: My husband and father-in-law both had the cheesesteak with fries—10 out of 10 for flavor and portion size!
💡 Atmosphere: It’s a cozy local spot that might not look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you! We were the only ones there on a Sunday, and it felt like we had a private dining experience with our own chef.

I've been here a few times and have had an exceptional time each visit. The service is great and the steaks are phenomenal, possibly the best in the area!! The rest of the food was really good also - crab cake, Mac and cheese, burgers, fries. I highly recommend this place. I definitely want to check out one of the special events upcoming on the calendar, like trivia or singo!

Eh…the staff was nice, the decor was typical Schuylkill county, stuck in the 1980s. The food was what I was there for. I ordered a burger. I wasn’t told that there would be nothing on the plate except for the burger. No chips, no pickle, nothing at all except a large white plate. The burger was dry and not seasoned at all. Nothing to call me back for a second visit. Edit after Yockos response, since I cannot respond to their comment to me: I did not have the 16 oz burger. I wasn’t told not told there was no side to the burger I had. Still no need to return.

Went in tonight for a fathers day/birthday ordeal ! Decided to try a bunch of stuff. I can say this is the first time I had nothing to complain about. We had burgers, the steak and scallops, bang bang shrimp, crab dip, wings, the delmonico steak ect. Everything was amazing 👏. We all tried each others food and all agreed the quality shows change in a great way. Very well done. Yockos will definitely be a priority spot 👌 everything is made fresh, and on point down to the salads and dressings ! Wish I got photos but was to busy eating and enjoying the moment

This small-town restaurant really surprised me with how good everything was! We had a big group, which usually makes things tricky, but the staff was super friendly and handled everything perfectly. The service was fast, accurate, and timed just right. We ordered appetizers and mains, and everything came out hot and delicious. My favorite part? The chips and salsa. I was told they make them fresh every day, and you can really taste it—crispy, flavorful, and super fresh. I could’ve eaten just that and been happy. If you’re nearby, definitely stop in. Great food, great people, and a really enjoyable meal all around.

The steak was absolutely spot-on—tender, flavorful, and grilled just right. You can tell they know their way around quality ingredients. The atmosphere was great too—laid-back, welcoming, and full of that classic small-town charm. It felt like the kind of place where everyone knows each other, but newcomers still feel right at home. The staff was friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area—I’ll be back for sure.

The bartenders pour like they’re trying to forget something, and honestly? Respect.
