Both Steve & Benny are great guys. The food is great and the prices reasonable. We used their catering service as well as the truck multiple times and it was outstanding every time. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out.

Struggle with this review as when it's good, it's good, but have had food cooked with super old oil and ketchup bottle with dried ketchup on it at lunch. Clearly lack of attention to detail and why these places fail to generate repeat business. I'll drive into the city for better.

Signs on the door say to order at the Monaca Brewery. Unfortunately, the brewery doesn't accept orders until they open at 4pm according to the polite ladies at the bar. So one star for not having updated hours. If I ever get hungry between the breweries' hours of operation, I'll probably update this review.
First time here. Food came out fast and tasted amazing. Waitress was super friendly. Definitely will come back when I visit again 10/10.
Kid-friendliness: Waitress was super nice to my niece and gave her a sticker to decorate.

Steve and Benny's brought their food truck to CCAC for our Orientation day and our All College Day. They are extremely friendly, professional and efficient. The food is delicious and hot. I highly recommend them and appreciate them feeding all of us. :)

Booked the truck for an event. they showed up for an hour and then left when they were supposed to be there all day. They didn't even let me know they were leaving. It was a terrible business move too because there were so many people asking for them.
Great place. Wait staff is amazing. Food was delish. Has a really cool vibe. Highly recommend.

Clean up your act together before the Allegheny County Health Department comes knocking again...per your request I added the details to which I was referring:"The Allegheny County Health Department shut down a mobile food truck in Monaca and posted a consumer alert at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Wilkins for multiple food safety violations.Steve and Benny’s Chicken Shack at 1032 Pennsylvania Ave. in Monaca was closed for operating without a health permit, lack of a water supply, and lack of a probe thermometer to monitor food temperatures. The food truck must remain closed until the problems are fixed. The operator of the business could not be reached for comment."-Pittsburgh Union Progress 2/13/2023According to Allegheny Department of Health website:Steve and Benny's Chicken Shack Mobile Unit (LGW-6466)1032 Pennsylvania AvenueMonaca, PA 15061Posted: February 8, 2023Removed:Violation:Open and operating without a valid health permit or license issued by the ACHD or the PA Department of Agriculture, an inoperable water supply, and lack of a probe thermometer to monitor food temperatures.
