A Fantastic 5-Star Find – Well Worth the Drive!
We traveled 45 minutes for our first visit to Lucchesi’s to celebrate a birthday dinner, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the charm and warmth of this local favorite. The restaurant has a nostalgic, white tablecloth atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. It’s clearly a go-to spot for special occasions, another table was celebrating as well, which added a festive touch to the evening.
We started with the roasted peppers and cheese appetizer, which was a delicious and flavorful way to kick off the meal. For our entrées, we chose the Lobster Romano and the Spots, both were fantastic, prepared with care, and absolutely packed with flavor.
Each dinner came with a fresh salad topped with house made dressing and blue cheese, which was simple yet really well done and delicious. For our sides, we selected the pasta with their homemade red sauce. Just a heads up: the sauce is pretty sweet, but as someone who typically doesn’t go for sweet red sauces, I have to admit this one was an exception. It was rich, smooth, and surprisingly delicious.
The menu isn’t overly large, but we found that to be a strength. It’s thoughtfully put together, focusing on high quality, well executed dishes instead of an overwhelming number of choices.
A special thank you to our server, Ronnie, who went above and beyond. Friendly, attentive, and professional, Ronnie helped make the birthday celebration even more special.
Important tip: Lucchesi’s is only open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM, so be sure to make a reservation. With limited hours and high demand, it’s a smart move to book ahead.
We were truly impressed with our first visit and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner with incredible food, outstanding service, and a cozy, elegant atmosphere, Lucchesi’s should absolutely be on your list.
Be sure to enter the center door.

Visited this fine establishment with some friends and I must say, the food is amazing. The venue is for fine dining and is small and quaint. So make sure you make a reservation or you will find yourself out of luck. It can also be pricey but with what you get it's well worth a special night with your spouse or small group. I had the Lobster Romano which was amazing. And my wife had the filet mignon. She's already asking to return for her birthday. Everything here is quality. A+

Absolutely without a doubt a diamond in the rough the owner father mother son are all so they are five stars but they’re above stars a true recognition to find Italian cuisine. Monessen has an equal of New York. Truly Italian cuisine a very nice environment family owned. I can only tell you if you have never had Italian food and desserts. You don’t have to go to New York. It’s just a little drive but it’s well worth it. You should never question the price when you’re getting something priceless I love that restaurant Trattoria unfortunately the sun has taken over the business but I soon learned he was the cook the whole time inherited by Life from la familiar all I can tell you is that you need to drive to Monessen and make it a event
Dietary restrictions: The food is to die, for it’s actually I am the vent, especially inviting another person or partner to experience the true love that goes into dining at its best

Kid-friendliness: The waitress was exceptional to our needs with a one and three year old. The food was not like it used to be. The pasta sauce was too sweet and the veal Romano looked nothing like the picture on the menu. No lump crab meat We were disappointed.
The food and service here is wonderful. I get to eat at many good restaurants all over North America, this place stands up to all the best.
We went here for my b day dinner . This was my 1st time here, and I am from Monessen and have always wanted to go there. I got the veal and wine, and my wife got the chicken parmasean. Both were excellent! Also, the pasta and pasta sauce were very sweet, and we loved it, probably my favorite part of the meal. We were there at 5, so it was not packed. That was good because we got to talk to the waitress about the menu. The atmosphere was nice and there was ample parking. The price was good. When I am back in town, I will be stopping by again.
I was there for a meeting, service was excellent food was excellent, everything about the experience was good.

have been there twice over the years....not impressed
Absolutely horrific customer service. Completely screwed up our order never apologized and tried to make us wait a half hour to see if it would even be possible to fix it. Will never go back do NOT recommend.
If you enjoy an expensive dinner with a loved one while other patrons, including the owner get obnoxiously drunk and loud and the food is mediocre at best, then this is the place for you. Will not go back.
Fabulous gem ♥️You have to know someone that knows about it. . .and once you go. . .every meal is THE BEST meal ♥️
