China Palace Monroeville is a fantastic restaurant for delicious Chinese food. The General Tso's and egg rolls are cooked perfectly, with free cheese wontons offered with a minimum purchase. The Palace Dragon has a nice spice to it. The pineapple curry and garlicky eggplant are popular choices, and the beef with broccoli is also cooked great. The prices are reasonable, though some may find them on the higher side. The staff is friendly, with a young woman who tries hard to please, even if she is still learning the menu. This place has been a staple for many families for over a decade, known for consistent quality and a welcoming atmosphere. Although the restaurant has some challenges with special requests and portion sizes, the food remains fresh and flavorful, making it a great spot for those craving quality Chinese cuisine. It's also a good choice for those with Celiac Disease.
