SMALL PORTION SIZES.
First time at Chipotle in a couple of years after several disappointing experiences with portion size, food quality, and service. I’m sorry to say nothing has changed despite the public gaslighting from Chipotle’s corporate leadership.
Portion size was significantly less than it used to be, overpriced, and on top of it the restaurant was filthy. I was meeting someone for lunch and as such spent ~1 hour here, and during that time not once saw an employee cleaning tables or picking up trash that covered the floor. Such a shame since I used to love Chipotle (consistently eating at Chipotle 1-2x per week most weeks from 2010-2018), but this experience reinforced my desire to never return again.

just make the drive to murrysville honestly. they're always out of something, the staff is painfully undertrained, miserable, and often rude. they also like to skimp you on food allll the time. all in all a bad experience every time i go. it's the worst chipotle in the area and every time i give them a chance, i'm left wondering why i ever did.

I know my love Chipotle. I love the food. I love the speed with which you get your food so you can get back out and get home. But the Chipotle in Monroeville has been ridiculous lately. There are times where the servers are great and give you an adequate and appropriate amount of meet with your serving. But these last several times I've been there, it's been ridiculous. I understand they're running low on food, and probably didn't want to slow the line down. But we're paying a decent price for food, and the server gives me four five little chunks of chicken for my bowl, then the same for steak. I looked him in the eye and asked him, Wait is that considered a full serving of chicken and a full serving of steak? He looked me in the eye and said yes then promptly slid my bowl down, and went to the next customer.
This is become ridiculous. I'm going to have to start going out of my way to find another Chipotle that will not skimp on the servings simply because they're either in a hurry, or their supplies getting low 😡
Do yourself a favor and drive to Murrysvile location.
This place is filthy and slow

I ordered an hour before I pick it up, was told to wait 20 minutes more minutes, ended up waiting 30 more minutes for absolutely nothing. (had to go back to work)

I ordered pickup via door dash today. I ordered a burrito bowl. I ordered it and then went to pick it up. It was 12:15 when I went to pick it up. I ordered it 20 mins prior while I was at work. I picked up my ordered and noticed it was burrito style instead of a bowl. The bag was right with my name and my order of bowl. I thought maybe they just accidently wrapped my order in a burrito instead of putting it in a bowl. I took it back to work with me to discover that it was completely the wrong order. I tried to call but the phone wouldn't patch me through. I tried to contact customer support but it was a ticket system. I kept the order and put it in the fridge but I will have to go all the way back over after work to HOPEFULLY get my right order and maybe I can eat it for dinner....worst experience at Chipotle ever and I love Chipotle. I would have just eaten it had it been in the burrito v. bowl but they put someone else's order in my bag AND it took an additional 8 minutes...after ordering the order 20 mins prior...to get my order. 5 people who walked in got their orders before me.

We stopped here on a Saturday evening around 7pm. This was quite possibly the filthiest restaurant we had ever been in. The staff were screaming at delivery drivers, the guy working the line never spoke to any customer, just stared until we spoke, there were no utensils, napkins, etc and all the tables were filthy.

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. But know that my review is NOT based on the workers who were working tonight. If anything, they did absolutely phenomenal for with the cards that they were dealt for this shift. Instead, I am speaking down on the management of this location (and most likely many more). Only 3 workers were scheduled for a Saturday evening. They were only accepting online orders, and even then, they were obviously overwhelmed with the influx of orders coming in. A company can only do so much with a team that is overworked and underpaid. I wonder how the management can be so comfortable knowing their coworkers are struggling during a busy weekend night?
The Chipotle in Monroeville is an absolute disgrace. I’ve been dining at Chipotle for a few years and I don’t recall ever having a great experience here. Every time I go here, they are always out of something no matter what time of day whether that be all of their protein, toppings, or forks for crying out loud. The water machine was broken for at least 2 years and when they finally fixed it, the ice machine stopped working for months. To top it all off, it’s impossible to ever know if chipotle is open since they like to close whenever they want. I get the lack of staff could cause this but come on, I’ve seen them close at around 7pm on a weekday when their hours say they are open till 11pm. Even when staffed, most of the workers are lazy and sit around on their phone or do absolutely nothing while they have a whole line to take care of, which probably is related to why they never have protein made. I went to another chipotle recently and the people there actually had souls and they actually worked and made/had food like a normal establishment should. I would not recommend this place unless you like waiting an hour to eat a bowl with no protein, toppings, or even a utensil.

I usually write excellent reviews, but unfortunately, this is my exception. I have been in this branch many times. Each time it is dirty, they are out of food, and the staff is usually bare bones. Because of this, I did a mobile order. Upon arrival, my food wasn't ready so I opted to use the ladies room. It looked like a crime scene! I will spare the details. When I was given my order, I thought that it was incorrect, but quickly realized it was my own mistake. I got in-line to order a new item, but was told they were only taking mobile orders. There was no explanation or notification as to why. This was at 4pm. Food was caked all over the serving section, the food was scarce or burnt, and it appeared that they were doing nothing to make more or remedy the situation. I went to get ice, napkins and forks...all empty. I took note that there was trash on the floor and the tables were filth. My advice is to drive a few minutes longer and visit the restaurant in Murrysville where it is clean and the food is plentiful. Chipotle, we love you, but some significant adjustments need to be made at the Monroeville store.

I take passion in the reviews I spend my time writing. I try to be honest, informative, and genuine. With that being said, if I could rate a (-5) I wouldn’t think twice. This establishment is absolute trash. The employees, sanitation, cleanliness, overall experience, complete trash. The level of unacceptability is truly hard to grasp. The facility was a disaster of smells and trash. Garbage scattered across the entire floor, overflowing trash leaking onto the floor, and a restroom that reminded me of what you would expect to find in a fraternity during a Friday night raider. 90% of the food was out, whatever was left was so far burnt and crusted to the sides of the stainless containers. Employees on duty were ignorant, careless, and resembled juvenile delinquents. Please don’t make the same mistake I did, do not patronize this establishment. Your time is much more valuable spent elsewhere.

I stopped today on my 30 min lunch break . Service is terrible took forever to be waited on and I had five minutes to eat . First thing you notice when you walk in, which should’ve told me to walk out was how dirty the restaurant was . Food remnants all over food station. No ice , no peppers . Four workers just standing around the whole time I was there talking. I will never come back and I’ll be sure to tell others
