“It was only our second time visiting this bar/restaurant. It was a Friday afternoon, but we were able to find room for 3 at the bar.This is a good hangout with a good selection of beer and bar food. The hot dogs are the best in the area. I prefer chili cheese dogs with jalapeños.I wish they had more to choose from for dessert.Parking: Plenty of parking“

“They serve Hershey's ice cream here (I had the excellent chocolate raspberry truffle) as well as soft serve (which was in hubby's black cherry float). Minus one star because the server broke my waffle cone, so the ice cream melted out of the cracked parts. $11 for the both was fair. If you sit on the far bench overlooking the Allegheny River, you can watch the boats and jet skis on the water, the querulous bluejays, and the laternflies (we killed the one that made the mistake of landing). Across the way is the Bayernhof mansion and musical instrument museum; if you have never been you should go, but don't read too much beforehand, as part of the experience is learning about how its history unfolds.“
“The hotdogs were very good, like they would be good with nothing on them kinda good. Not sure how to comment on the sauce, it isn't bad just different, probably the kind of thing that grows on you the more you have it, with all the onions I was hoping I could taste them better. Will probably try cheese dogs the next time I'm around.“

Good menu selection including the Turkey Bacon Club, and the Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches are my favorites . Bartenders are very friendly and accommodating. “I read a review where someone complained about ordering a coke and it cost them $2.00. Well, I only order WATER! DUH! This is by far one of the BEST Local tavern places to eat, my sisters and cousin have been going there for 4 years now. Excellent every time! My favorite if the tuna melt, I don't eat read meat but my cousin and sisters get their burgers and other items on sales. Soups in winter are very delicious, especially the wedding soup. These prices are way below other restaurants. In fact you won't get a better lunch with a huge proportion ANYWHERE in McKeesport. And this is a SAFE atmosphere for single ladies to eat. It is always a pleasure supporting a family with an autistic son and we love seeing him there too!“
“I love 5 guys. Great burger. Loads of fries in a large order. My only complaint is I think the price is just too high. 40 bucks for 2 burgers 1 large fry and 2 drinks. It doesn't mean I won't go again though. But because of the high price 5 stars is not in the cards for them.“
