My wife and I ordered dinner. When ordering I asked for vegan options because my wife cannot have dairy. They said that the Aloo Gobi was vegan and I just ordered two.Well, the lady taking orders was very kind and hospitable. She asked the cook if there were other options and took the initiative to call me back and offer other dish in a vegan way (chana masala). For me this will be a memorable example of great hospitality.Dietary restrictions: They adjusted my order to make it without dairy (butter). Very hospitable restaurant.

Just visited New India Grill and had a fantastic experience! Ordered over the phone, and both the parents and the guy at the counter were incredibly humble. Plus, they even gave a free mango lassi for my kid! The food was delicious—I'll definitely be coming back again soon!
I had the Cilantro Chicken Tiki, very good, the rice amazing for plain Basmati.. And he did not charge me for the rice but remember if you order dishes that are not rice specialty’s you have to buy the rice on the side..

Obviously this place doesn’t look like a 5star atmospheric place, but the food is SO GOOD. Granted, I’m very much an American eater of Indian food but you can choose your level of spiciness from 1-10 which feels like a large range of control. We really like the butter, korma, and masala variations of all the meats. The portion sizes are pretty generous and if we add naan to the order we usually get two meals out of one order!
The absolute best Indian food. Lamb Tikka Masala is the move! Can’t rave enough about this place. The flavors are out of this world.

I tried New India Grill for the first time last night. The owners were incredibly kind. They took our takeout order toward the end of the night despite being close to closing, and greeted with a big smile when I arrived to pickup in the final minutes. I was so happy to realize that the food was just as amazing as the people. Truly - delicious, incredibly flavorful and so well cooked, clearly made with love. I live in the Northside and made the trip to try this place on the suggestion of a friend, and I’ve just found my new favorite spot. Have tried just about every Indian restaurant in and around the city and (while my opinion on this may not hold much weight) this is the best of the best. Looking forward to going back. We had the Chicken Tikka, Lamb Vindaloo, and garlic naan. Can’t recommend enough.

Garlic nan, crispy pakora came with two delicious little sauces, a hot green one and a sweeter, fruity red one. Both so good! Also chicken tikka masala with a nice spice of 6, and it was made with white meat chicken. Also got a veggie dish I can't remember the name of.. I'll be back!

Wonderful service! Food was ready on time, fresh, and delicious! First time having malai kofta and it was great! The butter chicken and palak paneer were also quite tasty. Portion size is amazing for the price, will definitely order again.
I tried the New India Grill and I am so glad I did! The flavors were amazing. The butter chicken was closest to what you will find in Delhi. No strong spices and the, smokiness on par with legit butter chicken.The baingan bharta was great too, with a subtle smokiness from cooking the egg plants in a tandoor.The biryani was similarly flavorful.My only complaint is that they used chicken breast in everything and that felt a little dry. But I guess more people like white meat, than dark meat. Hopefully someday this will change.Highly recommend it folks! It’s one guy cooking and making the food he loves to cook. Do give it a try!
