Loved this place. It was very very busy but we were seated quickly and the server came and took out ordered quickly. The food came out in decent time and we enjoyed the food. We ordered gobi Manchurian dry, Mysore masala dosa, rava masala dosa, chana bhature and masala chai. There is parking lot outside and wasn't very hard to find parking. Easy to get in and out.
The food tastes good. The ambience is not great. The most disappointing part was the service. Other tables were warmly greeted, with staff checking in to ensure satisfaction, yet we received no such attention. No one checked on us, asked about our experience, or even brought the check without prompting. It felt like an inconsistent level of care for guests, which took away from the overall experience
This is by far the best Indian food in the Pittsburgh area. Anyone complaining about the ambience is silly -- it's functionally the cafeteria for the nearby temple, where you go for quick amazing food.
