This took away her ability to enjoy some of her favorite foods. We tried to find substitutes at the local grocery stores but nothing really took the place of her favorite baked goods. Finding you was a miracle! She loved your cookies, bread and Pumpkin Pie!! She looked forward to me bringing home her favorites and surprises like your pretzels and cinnamon buns each week. She just passed away a couple weeks ago but the memories of her enjoying your delicious treats will give me a smile every time I think about those times. “Sunday was my first visit to Zakes Cafe. The food was tremendous. I had the blueberry pancakes, the home fries, and bacon. However, the potatoes and the bacon were cold when they reached the table. I realized that the restaurant was busy, so I did not send anything back. I will return. However, if the food is cold again, I will send it back. Also, the coffee was very, very good.“
