“From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. As much as I paid for this cake it should of been the way I ordered. Never again because someone should of told my husband the cake is not exactly as we purchased and the price should of been adjusted and refund issued. Edit 3/12/26 Jimmy the manager called me and explained the situation and it was a miscommunication. He apologized and rectified the situation. I would definetly buy another cake from coldstone.
