Michael's Family Restaurant & Diner

My husband and I went for lunch for the first time and the restaurant was very clean, modern and bright. We split mozzarella sticks which were a 10/10, he got a burger, fries and a soda which he really enjoyed and I got a chicken gyro, fries and a soda which was awful! There was something off with the chicken that gave the taste of a wet dog and chewy, I stopped eating after 3 bites. I let our server know I didn’t like the gyro and he said “oh really” and handed us the bill for $50 and said “I hope to see you back again.” We will never be returning to this restaurant.

Michael’s Diner feels like overpriced hospital cafeteria food. The menu looks promising, but the quality and flavor just don’t justify the prices. Everything tasted bland, mass-produced, and forgettable. For the amount we paid, I expected fresh diner comfort food — not something that felt reheated under a heat lamp. Service was fine, but the food itself was a big disappointment.

Great diner. The inside is nice. Their menu is pretty big.
I got eggs Benedict with home fries and a side of fruit l. The eggs Benedict was great if you like it. The hollandaise sauce was thinner and more buttery unlike that thick creamy sauce. It was good. The fruit looked a little old and cost 8$, but the eggs Benedict and home fries were top tier. Definitely will go back.
